A & A Plumbing & Rooter Service
Company Overview
Our services are offered Monday through Friday; we do not handle weekend emergency calls.
Our expertise covers repairs for sewer, water, gas, and septic systems. We specialize in water heaters, faucets, sinks, toilets, disposals, water filters, and various other plumbing needs. We are experts in septic tank system maintenance, pumping, repairs, and installations for residential and commercial properties. Our team is skilled in re-piping sewer, water, and gas lines. Our team includes specialists in PEX and copper re-piping. No matter the plumbing issue, we can manage it effectively.
For main sewer line blockages, we can clear the line using a cable or hydro jetter, then inspect it with a camera to identify the cause. Our team will identify the affected section and deliver the most efficient and lasting solution possible.
Experiencing septic issues? We can help; we are one of the few original companies still pumping and installing septic systems since the 1960s.
Founded by my father Butch (August Sr.) with his parents in the late 1960s, he earned his license in the mid-1970s, and for almost 50 years, A&A Plumbing and Rooter has served as a trusted plumbing service in the Inland Valley. I, August Jr., took over the business in the early 2000s after earning a business degree and have been managing it ever since, focusing on sewer, water, gas, and septic systems.
As a family-owned and operated business, we uphold the highest morals and principles in our work. We offer clear pricing, and most job estimates can be given over the phone.
Growing up, I gained plumbing skills by observing my father repair different problems, equipping me to handle nearly any situation. I chose to take over the family business while still in high school. After graduating, I immediately enrolled in Riverside Community College, and by age 20, I was working full-time to enhance the company with the business and marketing skills I learned. Through five years of dedication, I grew from one van and a pump truck to three vans, two pump trucks, and ample equipment to fill them. I have managed anywhere from just myself to seven employees at one time. Over the past 15 years of running the business, I have realized that I prefer to keep our company small and family-oriented. By keeping the company small and family-oriented, I can cultivate personal relationships with our customers and my team, upholding high work standards and strong principles.

Best plumbing in the I.E. . Honest friendly and good at their job ! Would def. recommend them to anyone. Can't say enough good things about this company!

I've already written a review, but I want to say that 6-months after having A&A out to pump our septic, we had to call them out for emergency repairs of an offset pipe between our house and the tank (which unfortunately flooded some of our house). Not only did we get a call back the same day, but we got August himself to come and scope our tank to find the issue the same afternoon. His crew returned the next day to fix the problem and worked in the POURING RAIN!! Something I can say that not many companies would have done, and we greatly appreciated it. This is a small family-owned business but they sure do know how to get the job done, especially when it counts the most - thanks (AGAIN) all!!

I've used this company twice for different services and I would recommend them to my family and friends. I'm impressed with their response times, professionalism, the guys are just nice to work with. Put them on speed dial! Thank you for helping us!

My shower, bathtub, and toilets all backed up. I called A & A based off of the yelp reviews. Within a few hours they had come out and snaked the main clean-out on my house, and I was back to working plumbing! Will definitely be calling August again if we ever run into more plumbing issues.

Awesome fast and friendly service! I called A&A out to my business this morning to unclog a stopped shared sink drain. They showed up much sooner than originally estimated, and had the drain snaked out and flowing the way it should be. Time from original call to cleared line was under 3 hours, and their pricing is excellent! I'd highly recommend A&A to fellow businesses in the area if you're looking for quick friendly and inexpensive service. We at Mcfadden Dale Hardware in Ontario thank A&A and will continue to use their service. Thanks August for coming out and doing work!!

A & A Plumbing is a great company. Jesse was very professional and knowledgeable. He did an awesome job replacing a section of my main sewer line. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. Thank you Jesse for your work.

August was our plumber and he did a great job clearing out a shower drain clog in one of our bathrooms. Communication was awesome, and he checked in with me via text message when he was on his way, I appreciate that. Service was fast, price was right. No problems; I would try them again for sure

These guys are just the best ever! I had a main line backed up since Friday. We couldn't shower, use the restroom, etc. I called my home insurance and the send us a contractor that was supposed to come Saturday morning. Never heard from them. Called Them and they said the technician didn't have the tools for the job. Point is they told me Monday they'd take care of it. Monday came, never heard from them. So I called A&A. I found them on yelp and saw they had good reviews. The owner of the company said he didn't have anyone but he came himself to fix our problem. I called another plumbing company... they were charging me $800 for the job. A&A charged me $99 and explained me everything that was going on in my line. Hands down the best service. They were quick, they came last minute, I honestly appreciate them so much. After a long day of dealing with bad customer service and the insurance company I'm glad there is still at least one company you can rely on. Thank you A&A for everything!

August came out to inspect 3 septic tanks on a property I had in escrow. He is extremely knowledgeable. As a real estate broker and property manager, I've hired countless plumbing and septic companies over the years. He was on time, professional, got right to work, took his time and did a very thorough inspection. The value he provided was the best investment I made on this deal. Hiring knowledgeable contractors to inspect your properties is your best insurance against loss and he saved me tens of thousands of dollars with the information he provided.
His company is moving to the #1 spot on my list for plumbing or septic services. I highly recommend him and will refer him to any of my friends/colleagues knowing they'll be well taken care of at a fair price

We needed our septic tank pumped and a riser installed. Read all the yelp reviews, and decided to call A&A. The info they presented online and here showed them to really be up on septic management and experience. August answered our questions on the phone, and was able to accommodate us with a convenient service appointment. The costs we were quoted sounded very reasonable, and for the riser install was worth it when it came down to our costs for materials and time if we tackled that aspect ourselves.
Jason called ahead and arrived on time, very friendly and full of information, as we had more questions, and a lot of unknowns regarding our tank setup. (It is concrete, and the previous owners had been no help with any data on the tank.) We were expecting a bad situation, but instead found out it was actually very good, the waste was in good shape, and our tank was 25% larger than needed for our home, so we were in very good condition. We already had the main access open for him, but needed to locate the second access over the effluent side, and Jason was able to pinpoint it neatly with his shovel and the tank separator wall inside, so we took it to the clay soil and 1.5 hours later had the second opening clear and lid ready to be pulled. We had to dig 2 feet down for the lid (the solids side was just as deep), no small task, and Jason really gave the solids side of the tank a good pumping to give us time to finish our task (THANKS Jason! :D )
Jason cleaned out the effluent compartment, gave us tips on how to breakdown the roots that had been making their way into the tank, installed the new riser over the solids compartment, and as we're DIYers, told us how to install a cleanout pipe riser for the effluent side. (A normal riser wouldn't work on that side of the tank as part of the access was under a retaining wall.)
We are finishing buttoning up the project, refilling and compacting the holes with soil, and are extremely happy with the service and support we received from A&A. They are definitely going to be the service we call again when we need our tank pumped or any other septic needs.
Thank you so much!!
