I called a couple days ago regarding a leak in the refrigerator and a plumber came out the same day. there was some misunderstanding regarding the service needed and i felt like i was improperly charged. However, Nancy the admin representative was extremely understanding. She listened to my complaint and investigated the situation. She spent alot of time explaining the reason why the service was done and what type of service it was. Most importantly, she made me feel valued as a customer. We ended up agreeing on a compromise and I will continue to use A-1 as my preferred plumbing company.

I searched Yelp & found A-1 Speedy Rooter servicing the Fullerton area. I called Sunday morning (9/2/18) at 10am to schedule a plumber to snake out my main line. Dispatcher said a technician would arrive between 3 & 4pm. Bernie arrived just after 3:30pm apologizing for being late. I said you arrived at the time frame window your dispatcher told me that you would arrive. He immediately went to work, diagnosed my main line & snaked it. After completing the job. I also asked him if he could work on other plumbing related issues & gave me a rough estimate on prices for possible future plans. Thank you Bernie for your professionalism & i plan to call A-1 Speedy Rooter for my future plumbing related issues. I will be recommending A-1 Speedy Rooter to everyone looking for a Professional Plumbing service. Thank You to Bernie & the staff at A-1 Speedy Rooter!

We had a toilet back-up issues and called a few supposed ""quick"" plumbers and none could come ""quick."" Bernie from A-1 Speedy Rooter & Plumbing arrived and snaked the drain and was done in about 10 minutes. Charged what they had quoted over the phone, was super nice, got the job done. Life savers! Woke up to clogged drains and despite being the hottest day on record, I was able to call A-1 Speedy Rooter and they came and saved the day. A simple kitchen sink drain clean up is too expensive. Charge me $175 for 10 minutes service. Most expensive drain service ever.

Rapid service! This company is impressive with emergency calls but it does come at a rather hefty cost.

I needed a plumber to install bath and sink fixtures as well as repair leaky tub faucets. We were quoted a price, agreed on it, they worked on it same day, then when it was time to pay there was a surprise additional cost for small parts. As long as the issues were solved I was OK with it so I paid out of pocket in cash the additional costs they asked for.

3 weeks later, the tub handles that were installed and spout got very loose. They immediately came out to address the problem but not without the technician blaming me for rough usage. OK, sure.

A week after this the hot water handle was closing all the way, however, continued to leak water at a fair rate. I called them back for a follow up to the issue that was the purpose of my call a month previous-TO FIX THE LEAK--and they told me it would now be a very costly repair that would not be covered by them nor that it was their responsibility for the leak. Get this: they didn't even bother to come out again to inspect or make a 100% assessment of the issue.

FYI, I called another local and well vouched for plumber and he immediately rectified the issue in less than 2 hours (that included driving out to get new parts).

I give this company 2 stars for their immediate response, but everything else, from their workmanship and experience I would not even rate. A plumbing company is all about knowledge and integrity and this company is a basic plumbing service not a comprehensive one. If you compare this company to an auto mechanic, they'd only be qualified for filling air in tires and oil changes. You wouldn't trust them to change spark plugs or flush brake fluids...those are too involved and they will do a job that is in their best interest and not yours.

You have been warned. I think these other reviewers have only done basic work here. If you are a plumber and can't fix a leaky faucet right the first time, you should be in a different field of business. Not to mention their lack of after service is the best of the worst. Never again A1 speedy plumbing!
