Lifesaver! Our sink was severely backed up for a couple days because no other plumber was able to fix it (2 literally just left without fixing it).

My husband called at 730pm and Max was at our place by 930pm. We have a newborn baby so we were desperate for someone to finally fix the issue. Max had a great attitude, was very professional and was able to do what seemed impossible -- unclog our kitchen drain!

I hired Max at A-1 to replace faucets throughout my condo. He did a great job and was able to complete the the job in one day which was appreciated. He was responsive on Yelp and gave me a quote quickly. Taking a star off because he was late a few times to our appointments as other reviewers had mentioned but it was 30 mins to an hour, not a deal breaker. All in all happy with the work I had done by Max and would recommend hiring him.

Max responded to my quote request quickly and was able to come and unclog our kitchen sink on the same day. I also requested him to fix the stopper for a bathroom sink. When showing him the problem with the sink, he heard our running toilet and took a look at too. He came back the next day with parts to fix both problems. Now my toilet is working better than before and I have a working stopper for my sink.

A-1 (Max) was scheduled to come out to my condo to replace a bathroom faucet on 6/27 at 9am. Not only was he 30 minutes late for the appointment, but upon arrival, he stated that he could not find parking so he left. We agreed to reschedule for 6/28 at 9am. Reluctantly, we took off work for the second day in a row, hoping that our sink would finally get fixed. Just in case, I parked my vehicle outside the night before to save him a spot in case he could not find one. On 6/28, 9:15am rolls around and I get no call from Max, after I finally get a hold of him, he states that he could not find a parking spot and that he would not fit in my spot, and that he is already on the freeway. I asked him to come back and park in the alley near my building and if he is ticketed, I would pay the ticket on the spot. His response was ""I do not want to take the risk."" What risk? I agreed to pay any citation he receives, no? Maybe I was not speaking english or maybe Max and A-1 are just the most unprofessional inconsiderate plumber out there. He could have easily increased his rate to come back and make the customer happy. At this point, I doubt that he even attempted to come to my address and likely lied. I have numerous properties and have worked with many contractors and NEVER have I experienced this level of unprofessionalism. There are lots of plumbers in the area, I recommend looking elsewhere!!

UPDATE: I called another plumber and they came out right away, found parking and replaced my faucet without any issues! No excuses, no lies, great service, same price as A-1. LOL

Max came out when we called him on a Friday night for a backup of our toilet that was draining into the garage. He managed to snake the shower and get everything fixed and also snaked our disposal too. Thanks max!

Warren was quick to reply from Yelp quote and quick on text message. He provided a quote (including labor + parts) to repair a thermocoupler unit on my water heater on a Sunday and was able to come out Monday mid-morning to fix it. Water heater is working again and Warren was in and out within an hour.

Had a backed-up toilet and shower. Max was recommended by another plumber. Came out that day and fixed our problem. Great service and very reasonable (after checking out other prices). Would definitely use him again and already gave his name to my friends.
