Showed up on a Friday..... didn't fix the problem. Did not hear from them again. Had to call them 4 times and finally said they would be out the following Friday at 3:00. They are who you get if you go through American Home Shield. I ended up hiring a different company. They fixed it in an hour. Have canceled American Hone Shield. I would not use them again.

A-1 plumbing in Amarillo has been to my house several times and are Rude and uncaring! We were costumers of American home warranty and they sent them out after asking them not to!
Today they let my dogs that were locked in our sunroom (so they would be safe and out of the way )
out and left the gate open! Never told me they let the dogs out just called and said they were done and left! My dogs were saved by a lady who called me and kept them from Bell street (very busy Main Street!! ) I called him and he yelled at me and told me to put them up next time and hung up on me!
Thankfully our dogs are home safe and A-1 plumbing will not ever do work for us again!!

I don't understand how this company has such a low star rating, my experience was nothing like what I've read, tech was friendly and handled himself in very professional manner! Extremely knowledgeable and completed in a timely manner, I would highly recommend this company and please don't be fooled by those with bad reviews or have intentions to give bad reviews for fun!

Beware this company! My toilet was loose. My warranty company sent A-1 out. They put my toilet in at an angle. When he was done he said, "Sorry that took so long," and left. I called them back, and they came back with the same guy and another employee. They said they would have to dig up my floor and replace old pipes for $3000. After reading their reviews online (one of which was eerily similar to my situation) I decided to call a more reputable company because there was no way I was trusting these incompetent plumbers to dig up my floor and pay them $3000 to do it. Mr. Rooter came out and said the pipe under the house was fine. It needed a flange, etc. they did the job for less than $900 and they were incredibly professional. I've informed my warranty company that I never want this company at my house again.

The plumbers hit and cracked our $250 thermostat screen and they aren't going to help pay to fix it...nothing. Great customer service.
