My Home Warranty company sent them to my house. I took vacation time from work to be home for him to assess the problem and give an estimate - he told me on the phone he would be there in an hour and never showed up. I got voice mail when trying to contact him and left 3 messages but he never showed up or returned my call to explain why. When he did finely show up a week later, he was unprofessional and dismissive. I had to call him several times after that regarding my situation and he couldn't remember who I was or what he had provided an estimate for. It was a $4700 job, so you'd think that would stick in his mind. Anyway, thankfully I was not forced to use him after all. However, wanted to warn everyone out there that A-1 should be avoided at all cost.

Sink was backed up. My warranty service set up appointment for next day, between 1 and 5. Took off work. No show, no call. I called A1 they said they would call back, no call, no show. Next day I called he said he was on job and would call me back, no call. Finally called around 5pm he guaranteed me he would be there the next day 9am. Next day, called to verify time and he said can't come out because it's 40 degrees. We should try calling back at noon. When I questioned his statement that he guaranteed he would be there at 9am he became angry and said he wouldn't becoming at all. 4 days of poor excuses and promises.

Worst customer service ever! I have a home warranty through First American and this is the company they dispatched. I called them on Friday after i got their number from FA and the guy said he would be out here on Monday morning at 8 am. He said if i didn't hear from him by 9am to call him. I called and he said it would be 1030 to 11am before he would be here. At 12 i called again, he said another 30 minutes to an hour. I called FA back and asked them to confirm that he was coming out today, he called and said it would be another 30 minutes to an hour. At 2:15pm i called him and he said he again wouldn't be out for another 30 minutes. At this point i was fed up, i proceeded to b***ch him out on the phone and told him he was wasting my time, i should have been at work that day and didn't have time for stupid games. He then got combative and said that he tried calling me two times and i didn't answer. I had full signal the entire time and he was just playing chicken sh*t games. So i let him go and called Shoreline Plumbing at 2:30pm, they had a plumber out at 5pm the same day and he fixed the problem within 5 minutes. Stay clear of A1 plumbing they are worthless and will only waste your time.
