Having grown up in a plumbing family, I’ve been immersed in the trade since I was a child. After years of working alongside him and obtaining my state certification, I partnered with a talented woman whose father also ran a successful plumbing business. Two years later, we now run a company together and are on the verge of sharing a last name.

Our vibrant energy and focus on customer satisfaction make us stand out in the industry. While we were taught traditional business practices by our parents, we have adopted fresh concepts for our future.

Needed a New Water Heater. Easy to work with, professional and reasonably priced is the best description I can give A-1 Affordable Plumbing. Working with Linda, Suzy, and Yocelyn to get order, permits, HOA approvals and scheduling. We found them to be patient (needed with HOAs) and pleasant. They all worked with us to navigate through the process and to order the best product. When installed, the technician Brian was efficient and clean. He understood how the condo community works and ensured all went well. We are very pleased with our new water heater and the product and service provided!

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT USE A-1 AFFORDABLE PLUMBING. They are definitely not affordable, but more importantly, they are unreliable, provided mediocre repairs that had to later be fixed and have terrible customer service. I initially booked an appointment, and they were able to get me scheduled for an 8-9am time slot a few days out. (Perfect!) I stayed home from work to be there for the 8-9am appointment - no one showed. I called around 9am and they said they apologized, for the """"tech didn't see the appointment on his schedule"""". They rescheduled us for 2-3pm that same day and were truly apologetic. Again, 2-3pm rolls around and no one showed. I called around 4:30pm and no one answered. After another try, someone answered and said it was """"outside of our office hours and I'm driving now"""". When I explained that I had two no-shows they said they would look into it and get back to me. No one called me back, and two techs just randomly showed up at 6:30pm. They assessed my bathtub and said they don't have the parts to fix it and would need to order. (That was frustrating but we do have an older tub and I know everyone is experiencing supply issues.) I received a call to reschedule for the following week when the parts came in, so I had a 2-3pm appointment booked. That day two techs randomly showed up at 8:30am instead! Luckily, I had a dog sitter at my house, for we were still out of the state and traveling home that morning. Following that whole scheduling mess, we get home and give my son a bath in the 'fixed' tub...metal shards were coming out of the newly installed faucet, and the new drain plug that replaced our broken one doesn't work either. The drain slowly lets water out. Then we get an emailed bill that I thought had to definitely be an error - nope, they charge $250 per hour as well as parts and such. For the 'fix' that wasn't even 'fixed', we were unbelievably overcharged. They did send someone over to resolve the issues that should have been 100%, to begin with (a few more appointments later...) On top of all of this, the customer service was awful. The receptionist was very blunt and not well-polished at all. I asked for an itemized bill, for maybe there was an error due to how high it was. The woman then starkly rattled off all the invoice details (instead of emailing it to me...). I said a quote would be helpful for clients to assess their options and decide. She said """"people usually request one ahead of time"""" (aka, I obviously didn't). I explained to her, """"I understand that, but it should just be part of your business process/company standards to avoid any confusion or sense of deceit."""" She said, """"well we give complimentary estimates, so had you called and booked for that, you could have received a complimentary estimate"""". Again...why wouldn't that just always be part of the process? But I was not going to keep discussing this with someone who clearly had their mind and poor business practices already made up. I am not sure whom I spoke to - whether it was just an hourly receptionist or the owner. But the way they handled the booking process, the faulty repairs provided and then their lack of etiquette/customer service, I can say I will never use them again and wanted to warn others.

We called several plumbers and couldn't get a quick response from any of them A1 affordable plumbing we called and they said they'd be here between 30 to 45 minutes away . They were here in 30 minutes they took care of all the plumbing needs. everything is working great and they were priced affordably and thanks to Matt and Derek for their help in resolving our plumbing problems thank you and Dixie. I'm a property manager and I know how hard it is to find good help right now. I find the review from Camilla a little excessive. I found A-1 after I had been charged $350 for a leaky faucet that required a $15 part be replaced from a different plumbing company. The leak was still there, and they had to come back out again. Afterwards it was still an issue, that's when I called A-1, they came out found the issue and actually corrected it. And charged a lot less than the other company. Now they are my go to for the properties I take care of. I have used them several times and they have always gotten the job done. I really don't think some people realize how much it costs to run a successful business with good people that do a good job and deserve to be paid well. That all adds up. No company is perfect but these guys come pretty close!! I'll always recommend them.

This is the WORST plumbing company you can use.. They came to my house and took them 10 minutes to do an easy fix on my shower head and tried to charge me 237$ and they said there is a minimum fee of $300 just for showing up to my home (which they never mentioned when I booked the appointment) Speaking of appointment, they not only canceled on me once but they tried to cancel twice snd even came 2-3 hours late on their appointment They stole my money and took advantage of me being new in town and foreign They way over charged for a job that's not what any other plumbing company would have charged me because I made few calls around town and it is NOT even close to what I was charged. Bunch of thieves and liars Please DO NOT hire these people I do not recommend this company.. their name is miss leading, it is not affordable at all They get you by their name snd when they show up to your home, you must pay what you must pay They just estimate based on what your house look like or how wealthy you look It is ridiculous and unethical business I wish someday someone shuts it down.. karma has its ways though. I was 1000000% taken advantage of and given a non accurate price.. Id want someone to warn me about theft and scams.. and this is why I had to share this review with everyone Hire other companies, they are more honest upfront and they will discuss pricing options These people even wanted cash or wanted a photo of my CREDIT CARD on site (this is how sketchy and fishy they are)
