On Tuesday, 3/25/20, I looked online for assistance to see plumbing business around my area and called three plumbing offices. I called A-1 Performance Rooter & Planning after business hours and the Office Manager (Savannah I think) responded. I told her my plumbing problem and she forwarded my plumbing issue to Bradley. After 1 1/2 hours Bradley called and within 25 minutes he was at my house. Told him that there was noise of running water underneath the house and under the kitchen sink. Bradley listened to the leak from the side of house and used his flashlight to check the leaking water underneath the house. Bradley turned off the Water meter and said he will be back in the morning at 10:15 AM. The next day Bradley called at 10:15 and that he's sending Eric to do the job between 12:15-12:30 pm and will inform me what needs to be done.
At 12:15 p.m. Eric was at my front door and on time with a friendly attitude. (Good communications between office and plumbing staff). Eric asked me where's the noise coming from. He took his flashlight and took a peek and then asked where's the crawl space. Eric went back to his truck, put on his white uniform to check the leak problem underneath the house. After a few minutes Eric came out and told me the problem and that he could fix it he had the supply in his truck to fix the problem. Told him to go ahead and fix it - needed water due to my great grand-daughter being with me. In less than one hour Eric was done - terrific job Eric!

I now believe we have a plumbing company that we will use from this point forward. It can be nerve-wracking selecting home repair and home improvement companies when you are not knowledgeable in the service area, in this case plumbing, and you fear an unscrupulous person/company will exploit your ignorance. I feel this company to be honest and fair.

Both Scott (the owner) who made the initial visit and estimate and Eric who came back to complete the job of replacing the main sewer line from the house to the street were friendly and took the time to explain the situation well. I feel confident in recommending this company to anybody who might find themselves in need of a plumber for any type of job, big (like I needed) or small.

Also, the woman who answers the phone and makes the appointments made a good impression and is a friendly voice both times I called. They weren't able to come out and give an estimate the same day I called since it was a busy time in between Christmas and New Years which I completely understood. In addition, once they gave the estimate they also were upfront in explaining they would not be able to start on replacing the pipe for two days because of current jobs they were in the middle of but they would unclog the line to allow us to freely use our water in the meantime. I appreciated them being transparent in the expected time it would take to complete this rather large job of digging down through large roots and replacing the old, broken clay pipe. They also provide a quality warranty on the work performed.

Fabulous service! I got a new washer, store guys couldn't install due to a plumbing issue. Eric Carter knew just how to handle the problem. I called A-1 Plumbing and Bradley came out bright and early for me. He introduced himself first to our rottweiler which spoke volumes to me so the dog would know he was friendly. He then took a look at my problem, and listened to the ""back up"" story. Within minutes he had snakes out the tub, found some back up, and showed me where the drain-stopper had broken, meaning part of it was likely in the pipe and had been for some time. This would definitely create a back up and slow drains. He was done in quick time! I appreciate that he explained the situation to me and what I may need to do in the future. Wonderful. and professional. Thank you! Will be using them again should the need arise!

I called A-1 on a Sunday night and the phone was answered right away, I had a clogged drain. I made an appointment for 10:30 the next morning and Bradley was an hour early!!! How great! He was polite and professional. He did a great job. Nice and friendly. I would definitely call him again.
