A-1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer is a company I recommend. I actually had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, Patrick. Patrick is young but he is very knowledgeable about plumbing and sewer issues. I had Patrick and his crew out to remedy a major plumbing issue that left my basement flooded that another plumbing company had left me high and dry with. Patrick scheduled my appointment right away within his schedule. He kept me updated with any schedule delays and he with another worker arrived on the day scheduled and they worked on unclogging my aged catch basin. They worked for hours first to rod the line and then to jet rod when the routine rodding didn't relieve the clog. Patrick assessed the condition of the basin while working and we found that a previous company left or may have accidentally dropped their latex gloves in the catch basin and along with its aged walls crumbling they clogged the line. Patrick got the line clear and he also unclogged a basement bathroom sink for me. He explained that the remedied catch basin clog removal may stay open for a few months or years but recommended that I plan to get the basin rebuilt. He gave me an estimate on the spot and we got the estimate in October or November of 2018 that he wrote was good for a few months to prepare and budget for to have the work done later. Also, Patrick explained to me that for work like that I would be paying for my materials which was the bricks and he explained when it was the best time to get them during the down time of the season to secure lower prices on them. I ended up taking Patrick's bid/estimate and got the new catch basin put in the following spring. I opted for the new basin over rebuild because I was getting the aged basin removed and new materials with warranty on the work that lasted a bit longer than just a rebuild. Patrick scheduled the date for the work and they arrived as promised and the work was done in 2-3 days. And we've had no more clogged catch basin and when we last had a heavy rain out basement was dry while our neighbor's basements where flooding. I don't know if the new catch basin or the check valve I have made the difference but it was comforting knowing my basement wasn't flooding. It cost me about $5k for the new catch basin. About $650 for the jet rodding before we got the new catch basin. I recommend A-1Patrick. And they travel all over Chicago.

We have been using Patrick's services since 2016 in our properties as well a relative's property. He has fixed things like unclogging a drain to major sewer repairs. Patrick is always available when we call and his prices are reasonable. He is very reliable and trustworthy, has the best prices compare to other plumbers and has diagnosed problems other plumbers have missed. I cannot say enough about this company. Definitely recommend and will continue using as well.

Patrick did amazing work on a drainpipe that came out of my building. To get to the pipe, he and his crew had to dig about four feet into my driveway and somehow get through about 14 inches of foundation to replace it. It was major work that had to be done right away but he came to the rescue and got the job done quickly and professionally. Great work! I hired Patrick for three previous major projects and highly recommend him!

Patrick met me at our rental we were remodeling and planning on selling. He did the necessary piping to change out the shower faucet from a double to a single and raised the shower head pipe up 6"". Patrick did a great job and since we were going to have the shower tiled, he told me to just call the office and he would come back after the tile work was done and he'd install the fixtures. Once the tile job was complete Patrick came back out and installed the shower head and handle. Patrick was very accommodating and made sure the job was done right. We are very pleased with A-1 Patrick's Plumbing!

Patrick is amazing. I am in the process of doing a shower remodel and needed to have old galvanized piping replaced with updated copper piping and a new shower valve installed. I called around and even had other plumbers come to inspect the job, but many of those other companies quoted me 3-4Xs more money than what Patrick quoted me over the phone. Additionally, he was quick, efficient, and extremely personable. He also stuck to the price he initially quoted me, which was a major deal since I am on a strict budget. I am one of the biggest skeptics and harshest critics, but I have nothing but great things to say. I have found my go-to plumber.

In my experience the worst part about working with contractors is reliable estimates and timeliness. Patrick showed up when he said he would, he got the job done in the time he said he would, and he did it all under budget.
