I started my journey in the 1970s, working for just a handful of companies. I kicked off my career with a family business run by Bruce Campbell in Laguna Beach, a knowledgeable person who launched a plumbing training program in 1933; I learned extensively from him. After that, I moved into commercial construction while studying business law at UC Irvine. I enjoyed building so much that I never looked back.

I then moved back to Kansas, where I worked for the president of PHCC for many years. I then relocated to Lake Lotawana, near Blue Springs, MO, where I worked for Frank Stasy, another PHCC member. During this time, I met my wife; we got married and moved back to California, her home state. Afterward, I joined George Brazil, the president of the National PHCC. When they were sold to consolidators, I decided to start my own business and never looked back. It has been a fulfilling journey.
