Dad: ""Starla, use your shower at least once a week"" Me: *Then uses the bathroom as the fur baby's room and doesn't use the shower"" One year later...*tries the shower faucet*...leaking ensues. I should have listened to my dad. As a first time homeowner, I didn't realize you really need to use your other bathroom vs using it as a room for your fur baby. My dad recommended I call A-1 because they also did work for his place. I listened this time! It was my first time calling a company do to any kind of work for my home. I called and the guy taking my call was very friendly and helpful. I requested Paul (per my dad's recommendation) and I was surprised that Paul would be able to help me the next day. But due to other plans, I had Paul come a few days later. I was able to text some pictures of my faucet which I thought was helpful. The day prior, I also got a reminder text which was also very appreciated. On the day of, Paul came on time (we were the first job of the day). He was very professional and informative. My dad likes him because he's thorough. He did a great job of fixing my leaky shower handle. I am glad I listened to my dad and called A-1. I'll be sure to call them for other plumbing issues that arise in the future!

We have used A-1 many times over the years for various projects and plumbing issues. Each time they come, they are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. We've never had to call them back for incomplete or poor workmanship. They have always done great work. I don't mind paying for this service because I'd rather have it done by a professional. I'm not a DYI kind of girl They have never made me feel like a dummy for not being able to fix plumbing. Trust me, sometimes it's been an easy fix, but they fix it with a smile. Today's service call was excellent. Our hot water bathroom faucet could not be turned off. The plumber got here quickly and changed out our faucet, drain and shut off valves under the sink. All within an hour. He was so friendly. We provided the faucet, so that saved us a lot of money. I'll let you know that if the company provides parts, it will cost you a lot more. So you're better off going to a hardware store and picking it up yourself if you know what you need. That way they will charge just for the service call and hourly rate. Like I said, I don't mind paying for the service. All in all, I am very happy with their services, from the answering service, dispatch and the plumbers.

Our trusty old plumber retired so we asked around for referrals. A-1 Budget Plumbing was highly recommended by a condo mgr for service, customer satisfaction & price. We were extremely pleased with same day scheduling after suffering too long without a kitchen sink (once we figured out which faucet to buy) and especially with a family reunion we're hosting on Sunday! Lucky for us we had Maka w/29 yrs of plumbing experience and doesn't even look old enough! We found a great deal on a Costco faucet that was perfectly installed & works better than our much more expensive Grohe that leaked. Also had a couple of new Max Champion 4 Toilets adjusted better, water-line to the new dishwasher corrected and new timer to the water heater recalibrated. Wish our remodeling contractor used A-1 Budget Plumbing to begin with & highly recommend them for their excellent professional workmanship. I can also attest their charges are quite a bit lower than those other guys that advertise if you can see Diamond Head. . .I used that company for a washer shut-off valve and had to schedule a call back when the washer couldn't be installed because the brand new shut-off valve still would not shut off?!?

Fair price and fast service. Another company forgot my appointment and another one with ridiculous price. Called Budget and no extra appointment to give quotes . Set up the next day and done.

The Team at A-1 works like a well oiled machine. From the smart and pro-active office Ladies to the efficient plumbers, they are a blessing when you are in a bind and need assistant. They keep you informed of costs, provide .pdfs of invoice and especially helpful if you are an off-island landlord wanting to make sure your tenants are taking care of quickly. I had some plumbing issues with my washer faucet and toilet last December. The guy that came over, sorry can't remember his name, was very respectful and professional. He did a great job and was not just very efficient but quick. He even made sure to walk me through my options and was patient with my questions. He didn't complain about having to come back another day to finish when materials and staffing were not readily available. Additionally, the cost was cheaper than some other quotes that other plumbing companies gave me without even coming down to take a look at the problem. So thank you A-1 for having such a great employees. I look forward to working with your company again in the future.

A-1Budget Plumbing is the best. I called last night at 9:30 pm after discovering that my leaky toilet needed a professional. They have a service that answers calls after hours and they took a message for the office to call me to schedule an appointment. Lily called me first thing in the morning and scheduled an appointment the same morning and texted me when the plumber was on the way. Evan arrived within a couple of hours of scheduling and promptly and efficiently replaced the parts needed in record time. Fantastic service from A-1 Budget Plumbing. Thank you!

The accounting department is a mess. I just received 22 invoices dating back to a year ago. If you are a building manager, don't call this company. This is going to be a nightmare trying to collect money from past owners that don't even own the unit any longer.....
