This review is a little belated - after the solid experience with David and team in 2016 on a plumbing issue, I had no hesitation making a call for a significant job on the HVAC at my home in late 2018. For some reason my prior review was dinged by Yelp algorithms but regardless I thought I should write about my very positive experience.

This is how it went: After David did some research and we discussed the issues I handed over the keys and deposit and came back three weeks later to a job well done. No fuss or complications, just solid craftsmanship.

During his time on the project David came across some little unrelated issues I had around the place, eg. the dishwasher door not closing freely, and took care of them in his stride.

Over the months since the job was completed I'm often reminded of just how much more cleanly and efficiently my HVAC now works and come home to a warm, comfortable environment every day. That and all the little extras he'd taken care of that make life better prompt me to write this to recommend David. David is a conscientious expert and takes care of the details big and small.

On 1/1/17 my hot water heater started leaking a large amount of water. On 1/2/17, David the owner of A1-American Plumbing responded in a very timely manner and gave me a fair and competitive bid to replace the water heater. David worked methodically and was very organized during the installation process. He left the work area spotless and looking like a professional installation. Overall i am very pleased with David and A1-Plumbing and would absolutely use his business in the future as well as recommend this business.

I found A1 American Plumbing Heating and AC on Yelp. David, the owner, did a great job with our plumbing disaster. I found a small pond under our home and spent quite a bit of time on Yelp trying to find an honest, reputable business to make the repairs. David came out the same day after my call and started the repairs the next business day. He also made a referral to another company who removed the grey water and contaminated soil and placed fans to dry everything out. David replaced the leaking pipes and discovered and replaced other deteriorated pipes he discovered. He arrived on time each morning and left the area plotless after his work was finished. My husband and I found him knowledgable and efficient and would highly recommend him.

No matter what the heating or plumbing problem, he has always promptly responded, provided his work with pride and professionalism, and leaves his work site clean, the way he found it.
