Of all the service I have had as a homeowner, this was the worst. Poor communication, i.e. no timely callbacks, no updates re work timelines and very poor workmanship. Had two events right at Xmas, water heater went out Xmas eve and toilet began leaking two days later. My warranty Co, AHS, referred to this company. They came out three days later. A new seal was installed in the toilet and, after some assessment, the water heater was determined to be unrepairable and needing replacement. I was told by the plumbing company that they would contact the warranty company directly for authorization for a new water heater. Later the next day, I contacted the warranty company to check on the authorization and found that nothing had yet been reported from the plumbing company. I contacted the plumbing company who stated that they would submit their report that day. After waiting two days I contacted the plumbing company who stated that they were awaiting authorization. The next day, Fri, a week without hot water, I spoke with the plumbing company, stated that they had authorization, informed me of my share of cost, requested my credit card information, the model # of the water heater and stated that they would order the water heater for installation the following week. They were not able to give a timeline as to when the work would be completed. In the meantime, the toilet began to leak again. Not trusting this company, I contacted another plumber who came out, thoroughly assessed the problem and found that the leak was coming from the tank, not the seal. This was repaired and no further leak. By Tuesday, the following week, 9 days with no hot water, I contacted the plumbing company , requesting a timeline, and got voicemail. I left a message stating that if I did not hear from them by the next day, I would cancel the job, Next day, no word, cancelled job, contacted Harris Water Heater who came out and did a superb job quickly replacing the water heater. All along the warranty Co, AHS, was kept abreast of the issues. On the Monday, more than 2 weeks after the initial work order, I got a call from A-1 Aid wanting to know when they could schedule the water heater installation. Clearly, they do not listen to their messages nor do they communicate with the warranty company. I suspect that this is a problem of a small company attempting to work beyond its capacity and a warranty company which engages the lowest bidder. Hate to bad mouth small companies, but I cannot recommend this one for anything but the most simple jobs, or anything that involves complex communication.

Never responded and until today I have been waiting after they came and said they needed the parts. Called and the person who answered said they would get back to me, never did. Do not r commend this company. Save your time and look for someone else.

Lesson learned: This company is irresponsible and full of lies. If you have to have service with them, recorded and documented everything.

Stay away from these guys. I wonder how they are in business still after such a pathetic service and response. If AHS assigns this contracting company then call AHS and ask them to change. I hope they close the business soon. I see it coming.

The technician arrived within the appointment window . Repaired my appliance showed me the issue and was very professional.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. There is a leaky valve service call open since the 23 of October and even after 6 weeks they haven't fixed it.
--They dont inform when their plumber who was supposed to fix the problem leaves the company
--they dont reschedule the appointment
--they cancel appointments last minute without notice
--the airl on the front desk refuses to answer any questions and bangs the phone down.
We have AHS warranty for the home, We started a service call for a leaky valve on 10/18/21 and again on 10/26/ 2021 service request number 79865298, 84897288. They assigned A-1 aid plumbing. Plumber Sanchez came on Oct 23, took pictures and left. After 1 week of no information, we contacted AHS again They contacted A-1 plumbing and were told that the plumber is not working for that company. They assigned a new plumber to come out, and he came out on Nov 2, his name was Carlos, he took pictures and left. When I called AHS after a few days of silence, they said the parts have been ordered. When I didn't hear from AHS again or plumbing company, I called AHS again and In the meantime an appointment was set up for Friday 19th November for 3-5 pm. After waiting almost till 5 pm, I got informed that the appointment is cancelled. (no reason given). Then I called AHS again and they said A-1 aid plumbing they have set an appointment for Monday Nov 29 2021. Since I did not get any alert for the appointment time, I called A-1 aid plumbing on the number through google and It says that number is changed and there is no new number,
I called AHS and they said they can't reach A1 aid plumbing.
What kind of scam is this? Take the money, change phone number and make a run for it!!! Are we we still a 1st world nation?

A-1 Plumbing is an enigma. They were assigned to me by AHS warranty, for a water heater problem in a rental property. A nice young man named Sanchez came out 3 days later, quickly diagnosed the issue, and said he will contact AHS for authorization to get it replaced. So, I tried calling A-1 to inquire as to the status for several days, since not having hot water is quite an inconvenience for the tenants - however, they never answer the call and the voicemail says it is full so can't leave a message. On the very last try, I did get through, but the lady who answered quickly hung up in the middle of me politely explaining why I was calling. So, I called AHS instead, and mentioned to the rep the issue of trying to get in contact with A-1. She says that they have no issues getting a hold of A-1 using the same number. Perhaps A-1 has a caller ID and only answers calls from AHS and home warranty companies because they're the only ones that gives them business? In any case, a disappointing experience with A-1 Plumbing, as well as AHS (who's taking 5+ days and counting for authorization vs 48 hours they had promised). Ultimately paid full cost out of pocket to get it replaced since tenants had been without hot water for week waiting for resolution.

AHS, our warrant company asked A-1 Aid Plumbing to fix the leaks - one in our shower, one in the faucet and also fix one broken faucet. A-1 Aid Plumbing sent Alex Sanchez who was very polite, very professional and finished everything to our satisfaction. So far so good. He said that we should call them if anything goes wrong with the work he has done and he will come back to take care of it. Since he had to get okay from warranty company as well order the new parts, it took him a few visits to get the work done right. He explained everything well and we thank him. We will hire A-1 Aid Plumbing if a plumbing job does come up. Alex is a good technician. Keep the good work.

Would not even give this company 1-star. They were a pain to work with from the front desk receptionists who acted as if they were too busy to schedule an appointment to every worker that came to the house. They arrived in dirty coveralls covered in what smelled like feces. Walking through our home and entering the crawl space in a bedroom, left a mess, ruined the brand new air ducting under our house. Called us liars about the damage they caused in front of my young children. Did not do a thorough job had to come back multiple times because the company handling the restoration in the crawl space kept telling us the leak wasn't fixed even though the plumbers said it was. Absolute nightmare.

Horrible, horrible, horrible - home warranty insurance sent them out for a plugged sink drain. After two no-shows, a technician showed up and told me it would cost $285 to remove the sink for access (they had not told me this beforehand). Then the technician told me A-1 Aid was not qualified to do the work. This is all over 10 days - waste of time. If your home warranty company assigns them, look elsewhere.
