We called A-1 desperetly looking for someone to restore our electricity after a tree limb fell and pulled our meter reader and wires off our house.
Jeff answered the phone and he had two of his employees come to our house on a Sunday morning. Patrick and Mark were here through horrible weather conditions working non stop to get our electricity re - attached to our house.
My husband and myself were so completely astonished with how polite, and extremely curtious they are. Their knowledge of their job was outstanding! They knew exactly what needed to be done and worked exceptionally well with eachother.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for thourough, honest, and professional help with their electricity in their home.

Our toilet flooded the basement on a Saturday. I called this company to come fix the problem after we discussed what the issue was over the phone. They showed up in sandals and socks. Asked if I had a plunger they could use. They were unsuccessful in plunging the clog. They dug around in the shit water barehanded for awhile. They never once rooted the toilet. After an hour they referred me to a different plumber. Asked what the difference was between them and the plumber they were referring me to they said, ""oh, they have the tools...we can't afford them.""
The second actual plumber came with boots, gloves and dressed professionally. He rooted through the toilet and got the clip out. He was able to tell me what clogged the toilet as well.

Greg & Jeff are terrific! I have had them at my house twice now for both electrical & plumbing work & they both did a great job! They are on time, clean, courteous & hard working. They get the job done on time & then they take the time to show you the work they did. They also gave me some helpful hints on how to winter proof my outside faucets. I told them that 2 GFCIs needed to be replaced by my pool. They screwed around and explained why there shouldn't be two GFCIs and talked about how all the wiring was wrong. Long story short they ended up replacing the 2 GFCIs after working on it (of their own choice), so clearly there was a good reason it was initially set up that way. It took them 1.75 hours to do this. I was then charged $250 with a work time of 2.3 hours. When I asked them why, I was told that the additional time was driving time. So to be clear, they charged me skilled labor time for driving. I was also charged $20 for each GFCI. I see these are about $12 at Menards, so we are looking at a 67% mark-up on those. Also, one of the workers had his entire backside exposed when I went out to check on progress due to ill-fitting pants. That's not really what I would expect from a professional tradesman. I hope they enjoy their ill-gotten gains, because I would never hire these people again. I'm just hoping their work doesn't blow up my pool equipment.

These folks piggyback lined in my electric box and caused the lights in the house to buzz. the next day I had a reputable Election come and fix the work he and his wife did. Please ask for credentials.
