We had found a small area of our laundry room that had mold growing in through a leaking pipe in the attic. We called 911 restoration after we did our own inspection of the area and figured out it was a pipe that had been leaking for some time. They came and agreed with everything we saw and worked appropriately for the size of the issue. First, they put a dehumidifier in the area to start to dry out the area that was wet and waited 2-3 days until our plumber came out to fix the pipe. Turned out to be a bigger project (no one's fault at 911) and the pipe was fixed in just a few days. The guys came in the next day and did what needed to be done and worked really well!! Loved the crew working, LOVED the supervisor Ed, and loved working with all the receptionists. The company was transparent about everything that needed to be done, explained every aspect along the way, and really was a pleasure to work with. Easy to get in touch with, someone had a phone on them 24/7 and just really really a great company. The only reason they get 4 stars, which is a stretch in my opinion, is that they do not fix what is taken out. We had a 1ft. By 1ft. Square taken out of the drywall above our laundry room and they do not fix that. We have to contact a independent contractor to have that fixed but for our insurance, that will also be covered under the water damage claim. Here's another thing that I think costumers should know but is not dependent as a company fault. MOLD CLEANING IS STUPID EXPENSIVE!!!! Do not go attacking the company and complaining about pricing, they are just doing their job and earning a living as well as paying for the price of the chemicals and equipment used. However, just a really tiny mold issue that we had (literally the size of a textbook) cost us 1k out of pocket and over 3k through insurance...BUT that would never change my opinion of the company. Seriously cannot say enough good things about every employee that I talked to.

Ripoff and possible insurance fraud! We woke up to water soaked carpet in the basement. Sump pump failed during a huge overnight rainstorm. We were stressed and traumatized and called the first business that popped up. At first, they seemed great ... very kind, helped us start the insurance claim, and started bringing in the equipment to dry out. Although working at home, my wife and I both had all-morning meetings so we left the 911 folks to it. it was only later we figured out how badly they took advantage of us:
- More than twice as many expensive dehumidifiers and fans as needed.
- They ripped off baseboards that weren't even close to the wet areas!
- When removing the baseboard, they damaged the paint 3 and 4 feet up the wall.
- They ripped up carpet that was completely dry.
- They left the machines in the basement for 2 days after everything was dry, because ""the truck was busy,"" then charged for those 2 days.
The sent pictures to the insurance company of guys vacuuming up water in areas that never got wet, and in areas that we towel-dried before 911 arrived. Their total bill was MORE than the max my insurance company allowed ($10K), but the insurance company only paid 3/4 ... still way too much.
Then they put me in touch with a contractor to repair the damage who estimated another $10K, including painting every wall in the basement, including up the stairs!
I don't know what kind of person is willing to take advantage of traumatized homeowners like that, but this company is scary. I saw positive reviews--I can only assume they were from the owner's mother.

When my basement flooded I called 911 Restoration and they were here within an hour. They were professional and courteous and fast. They didn't ask about money or anything. The team leader Jose Mejia was unbelievable. He took care of all the paperwork and logistics so fast and said don't worry we will take care of the insurance. All they needed was a claim number which you get right away. I couldn't believe how much they got done that evening. Did I mention it was a holiday and they were there that fast. Jose told me all the steps that would happen. The next day he was back again to check on things and how they were progressing. The day after that he was at my house again and he would always call first to see if he could come over. 911 better be careful because if I could steal Jose to come work for me I will. He is a consummate and true professional. We couldn't be more happier with 911. They were true hero's. They are not called 911 for no reason they get here faster than the real 911!!! Jose Mejia is the MAN!!!! Jose and his crew worked so well together. I can't believe how well they protected all my furniture and all our personal items. Everything was covered and taped up and we could of been happier. My wife is hard to please and she had nothing but praise for Jose and 911. They better promote Jose to his next position because I know a lot of people and he is someone I want working for me or with me. He is a rare find. We couldn't be more happier. Thank you Jose and his crew and 911 Restoration who showed up to my 911 on a holiday within an hour of my basement being flooded. His knowledge and their work ethic is unmatched and second to none from what I have seen and been told. Thanks again Jose and 911. Jose you would be great at what ever you choose to do in life from what I have seen and our experience!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

0 stars! They stole money from my house. Read on...We have mold in our house and we came across 911 restoration. They came the next day, came late. They had to remove 2 toilets a bathtub and a vanity. They put the tub outside in the backyard in pieces and left it there. They have not completed their job so we stopped working with them and are using another company. They take very long to complete the job at task.
Not only do they lack timely manner. They dont come to the appointments you make unless you call to ask them if they are still coming . they have been an hour and a half late to 4 hours late to my appointment.
The owner, Rick Snyder, does not care to pay us back 832 dollars which was stolen because there is no proof. Well theres no proof unless there was cameras in the master bedroom. He's doing an investigation but says there's no proof. Guess thats enough.
IF YOU WANT YOU BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES IN YOUR HOME STILL WHEN SOMEONE COMES TO SERVICE YOUR HOUSE,YOU SHOULD NOT USE 911 RESTORATION. One of the workers also told us this wasnt the first time.
Very unprofessional and said if we made a bad review that we ""better watch what we do next"".
To avoid a headache, money missing, not living in your house because theres no working shower, then call the next restoration business . Don't waste your time.

Awful service. Don't use this company. They said that they would work with my insurance company and I signed a form for them to bill my insurance company directly and now they are billing me and are trying to put a lien on my home.
