Had a terrible experience with 911 restoration(Westland) I had an issue with my attic, 911 restoration company restored the attic and got paid from me, but later the attic failed the air quality test. 911 restoration company came and fixed the issue and it failed the air quality test again. The worst part is when I asked them to come and fix the work I was told that they are not responsible if the test is done after couple of weeks. These guys are so unprofessional they stopped picking up my phone and never reimbursed the money I paid them.... I end up calling another restoration company they were very professional and they re did the work. I would never recommend 911 restoration company to anyone.

I have never felt so upset with a company to take time out to write a review. I would NEVER recommend using 911 Restoration of Metro Detroit. If you are thinking about using their services I would run as fast as you can and find a company that has great service, quality work and most importantly integrity because 911 Restoration of Metro Detroit has none of these. The goal of this company is to inflate the price and do as little work as possible. I had a leak that involved some mold and they tried to charge the insurance company over $9,000 (They removed 6 cabinets a countertop and a wall scraping off some mold on the wood. All of 5 hours of labor.) To date I still have the cabinets and a partial countertop in my garage that I have to get removed. There were 60 line items on the estimate that I did not originally receive with over 10 items that were not done or did not even exist. When the insurance company refused to pay for the claim I was asked to pay $5,000 in cash or check to an individual that will remain nameless.
I took it upon myself to do some research because they did so little work but wanted significant compensation. I am always willing to pay for work done but every estimate stated that the work completed should have cost not more than $2,000-$2,500 on the high end. When I confronted leadership at 911 Restoration of Metro they stated they could place a lien on my home if I did not pay them $5,000 that I never agreed to in the first place. I never signed any thing for them to do the work because it was set up through a third party. To avoid litigation and to be done with 911 Restoration of Metro Detroit we settled.
When we look at things like insurance premiums they are very high due to unnecessary, unethical inflated cost by companies like 911 restoration of Metro Detroit. For the sake of your property and peace of mind do not use this company.

BEWARE!! Horrible customer service. Will have you calling for days at a time. Only make you a priority up until they get paid. My basement flooded in August called them they responded right away. My basement has flooded again in December and they haven't been out. Just giving me the run around since they got their money from a job I thought was done. They don't really care about the customer just the check. Go somewhere else!!
