I had a mystery water leak that had me using twice as much water in 2 weeks as I normally use in a month. I called Doug and he came that same day. He knew exactly what he was doing and approached the problem systematically, explaining what he was doing at every step. He got the work finished faster than I would have expected given the scope of the problem and the cost was far less than I was fearing. He was also personable and nice to my dogs. I highly recommend him for any plumbing need and will be calling him again soon when I'm ready to replace some faucets and other things in my kitchen and bath.

Doug was so helpful and did a wonderful job! We had a plumbing emergency and he was able to come out and fix it within the hour! Excellent service and so nice!!

This was our first time to call Doug Tobler & he did such an outstanding job that if we ever need a plumber again this is the man we'll go to. He was respectful, professional & courteous. He explained in detail what the problems were. We had a shower faucet & a tub faucet that needed repairing & we also had a leak under our kitchen sink. Doug fixed all three items in a timely manner & his fee was reasonable. His work is also guaranteed for a year. I couldn't be more delighted with the excellent service I received from 85 Rocking T & would highly recommend Doug to anyone & everyone!!

outstanding nice pleasant customer service! my house was built in 1953. my outside faucet was really rusted and while doing yard work, due to having teenagers. and I stepped. on it and broke it. called several plumbers none could do it but they could quote me. But Douglas Toiler 85 Rocking T. Was at my house within 20min had to crawl under my house to fix it. Fixed good in about an hour. The price was extremely reasonable. Will use and refer again, Doug is from Austin, so it was good to shop local

Doug came out on a Saturday to flush my kitchen drain. Didn't even charge emergency/weekend rates. Professional, courteous, friendly. He just became my plumber.

We needed help replacing faucets, piping and a disposal. We called 85 Rocking T who came highly recommended. They came out and gave an estimate which was very competitive. We had them do the work the same day. Very pleased with the outcome of their work. Highly recommend giving them your business.

I got Doug Tobler's name from a close friend at work who has used him as his only plumber for over 20 years. (He recently changed the name of his business from Tobler Plumbing to 85 Rocking T, to acknowledge his cowboy past.) I called him because I had a few issues with my 9 year old house, including needing a new toilet (which kept filling with black mold in the tank and the toilet despite repeated cleanings), replacing two old leaking outdoor spigots, and unclogging my master bathroom sink. I was able to reach Doug the day I called him and he came out a couple of days later to look at my proposed plumbing job (for free) and give me a quote. He recommended that I buy a Toto toilet over most other brands of toilets that are now made in China (American Standard and Kohler are made in China). Based on Doug's recommendation and the reviews I read about toilet, I bought one and he picked it up before he came over to my house. I asked Doug about his background and learned he's been a Master Plumber since the mid 1970s. I found Doug to be neat, highly professional, friendly, and willing to answer any questions I had. In summary, I am very happy with the professional job he completed in my house and in such a timely fashion. As an FYI, he also arrived at my house exactly at the time I had requested. I would call Doug again for any other plumbing issues at my house. It is a great relief to me to find someone who I feel has a both a high degree of professionalism and integrity and for that reason I highly recommend Doug the Master Plumber for anyone who need any plumbing work.

When I reported a funny smell in my house, the gas company re-did a line to my house, but they also turned off the gas to my furnace and hot water heater for not meeting more modern safety requirements. So I had to find a plumber who I could trust to work with gas issues. Since it is gas, I took this quite seriously.
I am very happy with 85 Rocking T Plumbing. My Tobler was 100% professional. I got a few bids, and his was right in the middle. I liked another gentleman as well, but Mr Tobler was available right away.
He has a nice website, actually answers his emails (unlike some of them I contacted), called promptly, came right over and assessed everything. He's a Responsible Master Plumber and is fully insured. Was on time to the minute.
It was raining today, and he was careful to wipe his feet every time he came in and out.
Got right to work, and I now have a code compliant furnace and hot water heater, and man do I appreciate having my hot water heater!!!
So three cheers to Rocking T Plumbing. I put a lot of research into finding a good plumber, and I feel I succeeded in getting a good one. That's satisfying. :-)

Doug Tobler is a Master Plumbing who has been in business for a long time in Austin. He has just incorporated under this company name recently. I got Doug's name from a friend who has extremely high standards and doesn't make recommendations lightly. Earlier this year, Doug helped me with a clogged drain/ toilet and I found him to be prompt and his prices are fair.
This week, he helped me replace a 12 year old water heater that stopped working without warning. He offered a very fair price on a Bradford White unit. I did research on Amazon.com (yes, you can order one on line with no shipping/no tax if you aren't in a hurry). Make sure you do some research online and read the customer reviews on water-heaters on both the Amazon and Home Depot sites.
The price Doug offered was very competitive and if you haven't installed a traditional gas water heater in the last five years - Austin now requires a permit and an inspection once it is installed. Once I decided on the heater he got it for me and installed it in 24 hours.
