Let me just start off by saying that I usually only jump on yelp to leave reviews for really, really GOOD experiences and really, really bad experiences and... 808 maintenance was AMAZING! We had just purchased a house in April and wanted to remodel our master bathroom so we called 808 maintenance. Richard, the owner, came by to give us a quote. He was super nice and very easy to work with. He is NOT one of those contractors that will inflate prices and try to rip you off. (Trust me, I have dealt with those.) He was very honest and straight-forward about what needed to be done and what the time-line and process would be. He asked us exactly what we wanted, he got back to us with a quote, and we started ON-TIME. (Idk about you but timing is crucial for my family...esp when moving-in with kids are involved) His workers were all super friendly and very hardworking. They did an AMAAAAZING job and now the look and feel of our bathroom has changed, DRASTICALLY. We had a lockbox on the house since we hadn't moved in yet so Richard would be in constant contact with us, updating us on when their guys were coming by, and what was bring done that day. After everything was done, Richard came by to inspect that the work that was done was exactly to our liking. I am so grateful for Richard and his workers. They did an outstanding job and they really stand by their work! It's really hard to find contractors out there with integrity and we are just sooo happy to have hired 808 maintenance. Oh, and we JUST hired them again to do our guest bathroom next week :) Give them a call today...you WILL NOT regret it!!!!!

I had an unfortunate plumbing issue in recently which left a hole in my ceiling due to a damaged pipe above. I was referred to 808 maintenance by a family member. We have hit the 10 year mark of being in the new house and little by little we have repairs coming up in full domino fashion .... oy vey ! Been very blessed to have been referred to 808 Maintenance Inc. & am back to that ""new home"" feeling :) Richard Chanco is the owner and President of the company ... he is one of those rare people who give 100 '/, plus ! He serves the Lord in his life and it shows in how he does business ... his crew and workmanship are top notch and I vouch for his trustworthiness ! So far I've had them do everything from painting, plumbing, installing new fixtures, adjusting doors, etc. Next is roof and termite damage repair ... thankfully his prices are very reasonable that I'm able to get a lot done all at once. He has also just completed a friend of mines bathroom tile restoration and she is over the moon with the completed job. Mahalo Richard and your 808 Crew ! God bless :)

Great service and work! I had them work on my son's bathroom ceiling. It was leaking from the outside roof crevice. The ceiling was a very long problem and water was puddling and dripping through. The bathroom beam had to be replaced because of the termite damage. They patched up the outside crevice and made sure it didn't leak before finishing up the bathroom ceiling. They put in a new light fixture and made the ceiling look modern. My daughter-in-law said they were very courteous and respectful. I highly recommend this company. The owner thanked us for giving them the job. They were very reasonable for a very professional job.

Great Value, Honest, Quality Business 808 Maintenance recently renovated our flooring, and they did an incredible job. Originally, we had bamboo floors that became infested with termites, and we had 808 Maintenance demo the original flooring and change it out to LVT, the results and quality of work exceeded our expectations, we are extremely happy with the work and definitely recommend 808 Maintenance to anyone doing any home renovations. Richard is the owner of the business and he is a great guy, really knowledgeable, honest, reputable businessman. I had gotten estimates from multiple contractors, the estimate from 808 Maintenance was very reasonable and competitive especially given the high quality of work, definitely worth every penny we spent. What I really respect about Richard is that he is not only the owner but also works with his team on the jobs and so he is vastly knowledgeable about how the work should be done, so what he promises you, is exactly what is delivered, if not better. Absolutely NO shady business and he does not try to upsell anything that is not necessary. In fact, during the actual work, the demolition ended up being more work than estimated, plus I also had them do a few extra things than originally agreed, but Richard didn't charge us extra, which was really decent of him. Richard also has a quality team, they were all really nice, professional, very respectful in your home, and highly competent. During the project, I got to know the team members and learned everyone specializes in an area whether it is flooring, electrical work, carpentry, etc., all master craftsmen in their fields and so not surprisingly the work was efficiently completed and high quality. Working with 808 Maintenance and Richard felt more like working with a trusted family friend. They went the extra mile to make things perfect, which was really important to me because I tend to be a perfectionist. I wanted the work to be flawless and to be honest I was kind of demanding, but Richard and his team were all so accommodating. It was easy to work with them on design development and troubleshooting any issues. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be going back to 808 Maintenance for any of our renovation needs. And of course, 808 Maintenance is a locally owned business and my husband and I always love supporting our Hawaii local businesses!

Absolutely phenomenal! Richard and his team at 808 Maintenance are a rare gem. We were referred to him when we needed to start renovations to get the home ready to rent. As we met him to go over what was needed, he was very humble, thoughtful and honest. He sent the affordable quote quickly and the work started! Within a few weeks, he and his team removed a lot of built in furniture, removed old AC units, fixed and patched tons of places around the house, painted the whole house and redid the floors with LVT and carpet. During this time, he did extensive research to help find a source of a roof leak as well. When we stopped by to check on the house, he would walk us through everything they did and were doing next. His team is very personable and friendly. Richard and his team are the epitome of ethical, honest, dependable and reliable. It was phenomenal to me that they gave 200% in all the work they did and it is evident. I've never seen construction work like theirs before. Truly a rare find. Our family would highly recommend them and will no doubt certainly call them for any future projects, big or small.

Ok- I rarely give bad reviews but this one pulled at my heart strings. First of all- it was refreshing that someone answered the phone and I didn't need to leave a message. Richard the owner answered and I described my problem which prompted us to make an appointment to come and view the problem. He came on time and with his helper and I was happy. The sad part is that he never said goodbye (I was in a zoom meeting towards the end but had my adult son on standby) nor gave me a quote or followed up with me when I called back so I never knew if the job was too much for him to handle or he just wasn't interested at all so I can't tell you about quality or value. Oh well...maybe one day I'll find out.
