72F Mechanical, Inc. is dedicated to assessing, resolving, and developing maintenance strategies for heating systems that utilize steam and hydronics, pump systems, boiler units and residential hot water systems among other services in different residential properties. Our specialized skills and superior practical experience combine to offer top-notch service to our numerous content clients.

Our founder, John Cataneo started his career in water heating systems at the age of 13, working at his family-owned business. He received his professional training from the Institute for Boiler Technology and perfected his skills in the workplace, aiming for his Master Plumber License in NYC, which he earned in 1998 AD. With over 30 years of experience in water-driven and steam heating systems, he oversees the family business, which is proud to serve the New York and New Jersey areas.

John is an expert in hydronic heating and the full range of related systems, equipment, and suppliers. He applies his knowledge and skills to small homeowners and large-scale property management companies alike, taking pride in maintaining warmth in residential properties as much as he does developing high-efficiency heating systems for business real estate.
