72F Mechanical is dedicated to analyzing, troubleshooting, and developing maintenance strategies for hydronic and steam heating systems, pumping solutions, boiler systems and domestic hot water heating among other services in all buildings. Our industry knowledge and superior field training combine to provide an invaluable service to our many content clients.

Our founder, John Cataneo kicked off his path in hydronic heating at the age of a young age, gaining experience at his family-owned business. He acquired his professional training from the Boiler and Radiation Institute and refined his skills in the industry, aiming for his New York City Master Plumber License, which he earned in 1998. With over 30 years of experience in steam and water heating systems, he oversees the family-owned company, which is proud to serve the New York and New Jersey areas.

He is a specialist in hydronic heating and every related systems, equipment, and suppliers. He utilizes his technical know-how to residential clients and large-scale property management companies alike, taking pride in maintaining warmth in residential properties as much as he does designing and enhancing high-efficiency heating systems for commercial properties.
