I called 5th Generation Plumbing to have our main line cleaned out. I was promised someone would be at my house between 12-1pm. 1:45 rolls around and no one has come or called. I have to call him and am told his guy is running late and will be here between 3-4pm now. 4:15 rolls around and I still have no one and no update. I make multiple calls/texts and suddenly get ZERO response. My wife waited around our house/cancelled other plans for 4+ hours for nothing. Had to call another plumber. As stated in other reviews, AVOID this company. Simple customer service will make or break a company.

Sid saved the day! I had an old galvanized pipe with a pin hole leak that was the main source of water for my house. Jerry tried to fix it. The owner and his crew has given me several times confirmed appointments and followed by a complete no show. Waited for these guys for 10 days. Very unprofessional. Every time they will give you appointment time and there will be no show. Some times he will flat out lie by say I am on the way to your home and will never come. I am surprised to see this type of business in our locality.

5th generation plumbing was recommended to me by another company. I had a clogged toilet from grands being here. They came out within an hour of me calling. Jerry was very considerate of cleanliness and fixed the problem right away. Stayed and checked to make sure it was cleared and also gave a reasonable estimate of other work. I will definitely be using this company again. Grateful that I found them. Jerry was excellent and very kind.

Whatever you do, DO NOT deal with this person or this company. The estimator broke in to my neighbor's back door and then proceeded to quote me on fixing the wrong address toilet. When he called me with the quote, we figured out out that he broke into the neighbor's house which should be reported to the police. Then he went back to my house, scared the crap out of my employees, and proceeded to quote me $5,000.00 as a quote to a simple toilet leak... Wax ring and a new flange was this issue. $325 for a fix from Newflow. DO NOT LET ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE! Use Newflow in this area. They are awesome!

The owner Sidney is a fraud and does shoddy work, at best. He tore my home apart and left my project incomplete during last Thanksgiving. My kitchen sink was taken out and never put back. This is how we had to spend our Thanksgiving last year. He also tried setting the new shower pan he was installing in concrete with chunks of rock in it, even while his worker Jerry kept insisting that he needed to use mortar and not concrete. Not to mention he tells nothing but lies.

Please, do yourself a favor and save your money to hire an honest contractor that knows what he is doing.

I have a duplex in Sacramento. I had a plumber come out and charge me $400 and did not resolve the problem but Sid came out promptly and resolved it for a reasonable price. Thanks Sid

These guys are on TOP of things! The day I approved the bid, they pulled permits and did a great job very quickly. They insist on doing things right, which is important to me. I'll hire them again for sure.
