Very dissatisfied with this company.....first of all they did NOT check both back flows. When tagged by the city, they lied and said our entire system needed to be replaced. With threats of turning off our water, we quickly called #1 Backflow Pros and they came quickly and fixed a MINOR REPAIR and the city passed us with flying colors.......DO NOT USE 5280 BACKFLOW!!! Call the PROS AT #1 BACKFLOW PROS!!!

Doug is fantastic. Same day service, fairest price in town, friendly attitude. Doug personally tested 5 locations for me and I will use him again and recommend him highly. Doug even made sure those awful people at Denver Water got their paper work for the correct address when Denver Water screwed everything up.

Doug DeVries owner of 5280 Backflow contracted us to do plumbing for his customer, he refused to pay us the agreed $3660, his customer just paid us 6-months later after liening their property. Doug with 5280 Backflow was paid by his customer - yet Doug never paid us a dime.
I will share with anyone that asks job photos, estimates, phone recordings and emails showing that Doug was nothing but clear and agreed to our pricing where at the end he's was just out to scam others.

Doug received a $900.00 payment in October of 2017 to purchase parts and install a backflow prevention system on a building our LLC owns. As of today 2-12-2018 Doug has neither done the work or refunded the monies paid. The work remains unstarted and unfinished. Doug is no longer responding to phone calls, messages, texts or emails.

I would look for someone else. I talked to Doug, and after he took 10 minutes to tell me how great his company was, and that I would never need another company to test my back-flow preventers in my apartment building... EVER again. Doug did show up on the date and time scheduled, but my manager was suffering from sever effects (SEVER) of the flu at the exact time Doug showed up, and was not able to let him into the boiler room to do his inspection. Doug never called me, never rescheduled, did not let my manager know that he was not going to come back to complete the test. Nothing! I live out of town, and made several attempts to call, text and leave messages to reschedule. Doug has never returned my calls, or contacted me, even to tell me I'm not worthy of his services. I would have been willing to pay an extra trip charge, to get the job complete. I had a deadline from the city to get the testing completed, so I found another company that values me as a new customer.
