John W from 5 Star made my gas fireplace look better and perform better than when I moved into the house and the fireplace was new. He cleaned it, replaced the thermo-coupling, the receiver and remote, vacuumed out all the debris, replaced the fire rocks, washed the burner logs, painted the firebox and cleaned the glass, as well as used oil to clean the outer frame and metals. Spectacular!!! AND the blower that used to be so loud it was irritating is now performing much more quietly. It is fabulous to find technicians and business people who take pride in their work and do it well.

Spent over 2 hours having someone look at my fireplace gas valve and never really came up with a solution but he said he was going to check the price for a new valve and get back to me. He never did get back and it's been a week now since they came over wasted over 2 hours of my time then charged me $90. Clearly when a technician arrives at a house he comes prepared, this guy kept going out to his truck to get a tool, to call his boss, to get a flashlight, to make calls to whom ever. All I know is I got nothing but a lot of wasted time. If I could give a zero I would. These people don't have a clue about customer service or what it means.

We called five star because we needed our HVAC cleaned and our hot water heater looked at on Monday, and they had a person there on Tuesday to do the work. They were prompt and courteous and Took the time to explain what our issues were.

In this day and age of post Covid unreliability, it was refreshing to see a company that gave such great customer service. I've had other companies that have never even shown up for other issues...

We had a quick job - turn the water on at the curb after winterizing our house. After dealing with our regular outfit with no results, 5 Star was such a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to work with. The communication was very good and they did the job right away. We were doing this remotely and we had several questions and concerns. 5 Star dealt with all of these with patience and efficiency. They were always willing to answer questions, even if it meant having to call to ask the plumber, and got back to us quickly. They were very professional and the opposite of what we have grown used to. We will definitely be using 5 Star in the future.

Cannot recommend 5 Star Plumbing & Heating highly enough! They were very professional, very responsive, they showed up on time (which is rare with contractors in this area), and resolved our plumbing issue quickly and reasonably priced. Wish I could leave more than 5 stars!!

This company deserves NO STARS!!! The service man came out and charged us $250 to simply hook up the sink lines to the faucet. The faucet was already in, all he did was connect THE LINES!!! They quoted us $75 !!!! When we called THREE TIMES TO TALK TO THE OWNER HE NEVER CALLED BACK THREE TIMES!!!!! Then every time we called the company NO ONE COULD HELP, so they claimed!!! Save your money!

We had this company come out over the winter when we had no heat. The owner sent his son who appeared to be in training. He spent the most of the day here and added several pounds of refrigerant to our heat pump/compressor to hack a fix. He said we needed a relay switch for our indoor unit but said they were only available in Salisbury and that he would have to go there the next day to get one. I just smelled something was not right. I called Kingdom, they came out the next day, were here for 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem and found a part locally. When the cooling season came, the AC went down and 2 separate contractors told me there was way too much refrigerant in the unit. 5 Star is anything but...I wouldn't wish these guys on my worst enemy.

Did not have good experience with this company. Needed help with water softener system that they placed in the house because it was not connecting with the app that it has. Wanted to know the settings on it as well since it was placed in the house before I moved in. Asked someone to come out which they did, but the technician did not help at all and in fact looked as if he did not want to help me at all. Not to mention was over an hour late. And wanted to charge $75 to come out. Called again and was told I would be called back and to put salt in my water softener. Never called back. Felt like a simple service was put to the waist side and not felt like there was good customer service at all. Would not recommend based on this experience.
