Even though Lutz is clearly in the """"service area"""" map THEY post in their website...I was told I was """"too far away to service!"""" There's the key word: SERVICE! They showed NO SERVICE....and contradicted their own website! DOES THAT SEEM TRUSTWORTHY TO YOU????? Not to me!!!

We are extremely thankful to have stumbled across Jose! During his very first visit, he spent over 1.5 hrs diagnosing the shower leak that had plagued us for months (a previous plumber took less than 30sec to tell us what the issue was and were completely wrong). Jose was mindful of safety (COVID) by always wearing his mask, booties every single time he was in and out of the house and sanitized. He is not only talented but is communicative, follows through as promised and his level of integrity is noticeably high! Would recommended him over and over to anyone and everyone!

Would never recommend this company to anyone, they took this single mom for a ride. I asked for a whole house water softener to be installed, and after the initial installation, it flooded my garage. They blamed a faulty part and replaced it quickly, but again, my garage was flooded. At no time was there any concern over damage to anything in my garage, just the mention of faulty parts of the system. After a few weeks, didn't notice a difference in my hard water stains, and had my water tested, which was still coming back as very hard. The company then blamed a """"faulty filter"""". After getting my water tested a second time and no difference, I was told by the owner, """"trust that the system is doing its job,"""" and then he never answered my texts after that. I have had two different companies come out and tell me the same thing, that the system I received is not what I paid for, with very poor installation. In fact I was told he charged me three times what the system is worth, and that it is by no means a """"whole house"""" softener. Makes sense now that he never answered, because he realized he was busted. Do yourself a favor and pick a more experienced and HONEST plumbing company.

Jose worked really hard crawling under the house and back up to the bathroom to fix a shower drain. He diagnosed the specific problem, and is patient and professional. Fair prices.

Great service! Our main line was backed up and water backed up into the shower and toilet. He was able to come a couple hours after my call on a Sunday morning. He cleared out the pipe and gave us a year warranty if it backs up again. I will call 5 Star Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

Jose Villadiego is an affable young man of high intelligence and integrity who also is the owner. I had a water heater that was leaking and Jose quickly and efficiently identified the problem. He then verified that it was still under warranty and immediately handled all details involved. He also handled everything involved in removing, installing and all paperwork, including registering the water heater. The completed job was exceptionally done. His work was head and shoulders above previous hires. Jose is also flexible and helps you stay within your budget constraints. His pricing is very reasonable. Jose was professional and enthusiastic from the moment he picked up the phone. We had a squealing toilet and it certainly wasn't an emergency but Jose made us a priority and was at our house within the hour.

My husband takes two showers a day. He's super clean obviously but more importantly this habit allows him to be super on top of most water issues. Thusly last night I came to find him laying upon our kitchen floor attempting (unsuccessfully) to keep the water heater pilot light lit. He told me he had attempted his evening wash-up but quickly realized the hot water was, well....not so hot. By the time I'd awaken today, he had already reached Jose at 5 Star Plumbing and Drains via yelp """"request for services"""" Jose came to our home to access the problem. After hearing the totality of our dealings with the finicky water heater he suggested a few possible solutions. We decided to fully replace the unit. This consultation happened at 2pm. By 6pm we had a fully new unit, clean, dry, working. So obviously I haven't seen my husband for a """"hot"""" minute as he's """"testing"""" the shower water but we both expect to see Jose on Tuesday to install the water softener we had been wanting. All joking aside Jose was timely, knowledgeable, cost efficient, fast, respectful and self sufficient. He was easy to understand and communicated very well (we non plumbers could easily grasp his point). In these days of COVID he also was extremely careful about not touching anything in our homes and wore several different pairs of gloves. I can't wait for softened water..Florida water has robbed me of my """"Calgon""""moments. I'll update my review from my (hopefully) very bubbly, bubble bath Wednesday after our water softener install. If you are in need of a plumber try supporting local small businesses.
