I was in town for a short amount of time but Dave helped me out with an appointment for an urgent plumbing situation involving an old toilet and sink at my in-laws' house. His associate, Dan, came out promptly and didn't give up! He figured out how to solve the problem that some other plumbers couldn't fix. In doing their due diligence with another issue we had (after the first issue was fixed we found there was a water pressure/regulator issue), Dan and Dave found a dangerous carbon monoxide leak in our furnace/water heater closet and fixed a severely broken flue pipe. Dan really went the extra mile. Dave and Dan are top notch and trustworthy people. They do a good job and they are honest and kind. I hate to think what could have happened if circumstances were even a little different. I would 100% recommend this business!

Extremely pleased with the work Dan did for us! We turned our dining room into an eat-in kitchen and he was able to run new water lines and set up a new sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher, and fixed a drain issue in our basement in short order. Dan did a great job on everything and was an extremely friendly guy. We'll definitely be repeat customers of 5-Star Air because of him.

5-Star Air took such good care of us through an issue with our furnace in December. They were timely, professional, transparent and clean. I could not recommend them more.

In the past six months, my furnace and AC and my tenant's AC have broken. I have worked with 5-Star Air through a warranty company and directly.

Brian was the rep that visited my house for each repair. He is extremely helpful and patient with customer questions. As a new homeowner, I have really felt like I can trust 5-Star Air.

I will definitely be using 5-Star Air for all future repairs.

After 5 star air came to recharge my old ac unit, ac gave out again. Owner promised to credit me for charges towards a new ac unit. After verbal agreement on a price, owner backed out last minute and tried to charge a higher amount while also refusing to include all parts originally agreed to over the phone. When emailed you uphold verbal agreement, owner refused to call back/respond. Clearly, a dishonest and unethical company. Also, owner is not usually available. I would advise to choose another hvac company to fix/install your ac unit. One that is straightforward and transparent. This company also does not warranty their labor or installation which doesn't surprise me based on my experience outlined above. Shady!

Your response is typical try to spin at all costs. Lets lay it out for those reading this review. You stated that the average cost to replace a hot water tank in the Continental United States is between 400-900 dollars, your words. Then you said We quoted you $520.00 minus your $60.00 service call fee would have been $460.00, which would be very close to the lowest point on the national average. However you omitted the words non-covered charges. So if these are Non-Covered charges then there must be Covered charges. And the covered charges for this installation was 865.00 dollars from my warranty company, so by my calculations 865+460= 1325 or 425 dollars above the national average you are charging for a hot water tank installation. Try and refute it , you can""t because another company was able to come out and do the job accepting the 865.00 and only charging me 48.00 for a ball valve. And they have expenses also.

you also might want to look into filing your permits online rather than having a valued employee drive 30 minutes to submit your request this cost saving would help.

Dan was very prompt in arrival and gave a 20 minute notice of when he was going to get here

He was able to fix a leaky tub - despite the parts being old - in less than an hour

My home warranty company sent these folks out and 2 out of 3 times they've been dirty and left a mess. They replaced the toilet in this house and they couldn't even be to remove the old caulk. Half finished job at best.

They also left huge dirt marks on my walls which has not been able to be cleaned causing me to have to repaint the walls.

Thank you for being so responsive and for the quick appointment! Having never needed a plumber before, 5-Star Air set the bar extremely high. Will definitely call again if the need arises. I can't say enough positive things!

After 4 no show appointments by another plumber (without even calling to say they weren't going to show up), I found 5-Star Air through Yelp. A few messages back and forth to outline what we needed (a new gas fireplace hooked up), we had an estimate, date and time established. The serviceman showed up exactly within the window I was given, looked at the work to be done, quoted an exact price (by the way it was actually LESS than the estimate...that NEVER happens!) and got to work. The tech was totally professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. Few hours later we were enjoying our newly installed fireplace! Great job and many thanks to 5-Star Air. These guys are now our ""go to"" plumbers!! Follow up: the owner even called to be sure we were 100% satisfied with the job.
I'm not much of a review writer but trust me...if you find a good, reliable plumber you grab on to them and keep their number handy!
