This was once a good plumber but something has happened to degrade their service, competency and attitude.
After a poor experience, I sent the company an email and was going to leave at that. That was until the owner partner or whatever his position called me complaining about my email. His poor attitude got me so hot, I've decided to post it here and let you dediced if you want to risk doing business with them or not.
I had your company out to trouble shoot and repair a low flow situation in a shower.
While you were here, I had a maintance operation on my tank less water heater.
Your so called plumber could not get to the bottom of the flow issue but managed to make matters worse by buggering up the temperature control.
During his visit I asked about the water pressure as there is a gage right at the pressure tank. I got an evasive answer about the switch rating only and my problem wasn't pressure but flow. Oh really! lf you don't have adequate pressure you'll have low flow. Does he not know this?
I called and had him back out to correct the temperature problem that he created. He seemed miffed that he had to correct his screw up for free. Again I asked about the pressure without getting a satisfactory answer.
I decided that 49er was no longer the competent outfit that it used to be so I called my handyman to have a look see.
Turns out the pressure gauge was stuck at reading 75 psi and the actual pressure was 57 psi or very near my target pressure of 60 psi. The bad gauge will be replaced. An easy fix that anyone could find and remedy.
Most importantly the cause of the low flow shower was a huge leak into the wall cavity behind the shower. A leak that was evidenced by a leaky O ring that when changed did nothing. Should have been a clue for a competent plumber. If you had one and if he'd bothed to look, which he didn't.
We turned the shower on then went down below to have a look. An easy task in my house because its stand up accessible and easy to do.
With the shower on, there was a lot of water flowing under the shower which we traced to the leaky shower fitting with the leaky O ring. Corrective measures are under way.
You won't be on my call list in future. If anyone asks, I'll tell them exactly what transpired, and to beware.
It's well to remember that reputations, whether good or bad, are always earned.

Every plumber in the area said it would be 3-5 days before they could respond to an issue that we needed addressed as soon as possible. 49er said they would put us on the ""standby"" list. We got a call from Derek in the early afternoon that same day saying that he could be at our home in 25 minutes. He was very friendly, calmed our concerns, fixed the two plumbing problems, charge was reasonable. Highly recommend as 49er put forth exceptional effort to respond in spite of their busy schedule.

Called because we haven't had hot water due to a pilot issue for 3 days. The response was a condescending chuckle and ""we can't get there for a week"".
It's not your potential customers fault that their water heater isn't working and having an elitist ""sorry, not sorry"" response isn't not only unprofessional but makes sure we won't do business with you. Not that I get a sense you care.

Had the best plumbing experience to date.
Called the office in the morning explaining my navien on demand water issue and the not so happy wife . I was told that no promises could be made but will do their best. By 1pm a Derek called confirming he is coming. Water heater was fixes and wife is happy so I'm safe to go home tonight. ""Jk she is always kind"". recommended a few other things to do in keeping my propane line efficient. Want to thank Derek for taking the time to come up on short notice and educating us on the unit. Clean work on time and well informed could not ask for more from a business. Keep up the good work.

Our 8 year old Navien system had been throwing a ignition failure code for the last 6 months. We had another company ($$$) come to find the problem, for the inconsistent firing issue for the last 6 months, to no resolution. Finally, we contacted Navien directly who suggested 49er. Jeff and Derek came out promptly, worked with Navien on the phone to get parts warrantied approved, had them in stock (the heat exchanger was a biggee), installed the parts and tested. I can't believe how wonderful it is to have hot water on demand again without issue. We are happy customers and will certainly use their good service in future if the need arises.

My Rennai water heater ran cold after several minutes. It was not consistent throughout all the faucets in our home. Jeff scheduled me very quickly and due to one of his techs being sick, he came out and handled the problem himself. He was very professional. We purchased the home with this system installed and I was not familiar with this type of water heating system. He answered all of my questions so I could learn about my system...
Pricing was fair and he made sure everything worked as expected. No mess left behind.

Let me start by saying 5 star service for Derek, who did a great job and had wonderful people skills. 1 star to Jeff for being rude. Jeff came out to bid the job and the total came out to more than double. When I called for clarification he was rude and it became a game of he said she said. Clearly there was a miscommunication, but he blamed me for everything and called me disgruntled. It was completely unnecessary and I never lost my calm. I had already paid in full and didn't call asking for money back. I have additional plumbing needs that I was wanting to hire them for because I really liked Derek and appreciated the quality of his work, but no thanks. I don't write review unless it's raving or bad enough others should know.
Edit response: Jeff I am happy with the quality of the work performed and fine with the overall cost of the project. I am upset with how rude you were to me on the phone. I was curious as to how we got from what you quoted to what the final bill was when I called. It's inaccurate to say the parts alone we're more than the original quote, as quote was $500 and parts ended up at $308. If adding the second line doubled the quote the additional tasks of tightening a bolt and looking at at bolts that were stripped cost almost an hour time. Fine. But instead of blaming me for ""not remembering "" perhaps consider asking your clients why they are running the water line in the first place. I think if you knew I intended to install a sink and a dish washer you would question why does she only want a cold line? But anyways, if even if you think I'm in the wrong a little kindness on the phone would have gone a long way. Adding 1 star bc the rest was a great experience.

Always responds in short period of time.
Highly professional and excellent work completed in timely matter.
Highly recommend Jeff and crewe!

I had a stopped up sink. I called 4 plumbers before I connected with 49er. Although I was out of their service area the owner said he had a tech fairly nearby & could get to me that afternoon. The tech, Joel, called that afternoon & said he was about 5 minutes away. The problem was a bit more complicated than just a ""snake"" job. Joel figured it out & got the job done effectively & efficiently. He couldn't have been more professional. Kudos to 49er & Joel. It's difficult to find services like this nowadays. When you do it should be commended.

We were having issues with fluctuating water pressure for a couple months so I called 49er. They were able to come by the next day and resolve the issue in just over an hour for a totally reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend them.
