We were having issues with fluctuating water pressure for a couple months so I called 49er. They were able to come by the next day and resolve the issue in just over an hour for a totally reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend them.

Joel came out right on schedule to put in new hot/cold valves for our washing machine. He had to cut out some sheet rock but did the work efficiently and cleaned everything up afterwards. Hats off once again to the ownership of 49er Plumbing and Drain. During a termite inspection, our Clark Technician noticed damp concrete and basement soil. I immediately called Sharon at the 49er Office and scheduled a convenient appointment. Joel was immediately assigned (and from his previous work at our house replacing 3 toilets/kitchen sink faucet, we knew we were is good hands.) Joel called ahead before arriving and asked me what sizes of black ABS pipe were visible near the leak. I measured and also sent photos of the basement work/piping area which helped Joel pre-select ABS fittings before he arrived at the house. Joel arrived on-time (as Sharon had told when I called for the appointment), explored in wall plastic pipe options, eliminated potential exposed cuts on an outside wall to access pipe, cleaned up a tangled under sink dishwasher water drain and replaced all cracking/leaking ABS plastic inside the kitchen cabinet, inside wall and under the house in the basement fiberglass insulated workspace. Our house work task and our our confined area was extremely tough. Total cleanup of all removed piping/canvas draped work area. Joel always tests for leaks following repair work using 'a live water flow test "". . Parts and labor were of excellent quality and workmanship and well within our budget. Plumbing parts are always sourced locally for us by 49er Plumbing using Grass Valley's Sierra Plumbing Supply, so repairs are done with strong quality in-stock fitting(s) with no delay on obtaining and installation by 49er Plumbing. If you have a plumbing problem or consider remodeling, give them a call...they really know what to do with effective planning, response and repair. You will not be disappointed. We plan to use them again!!

Ive had 49ers out twice. in the last year. The first time, I had various pipes that were dripping into the basement. The second time to add a gas tap for my generator.

Both times they came out quickly and fixed my problem same day. Pricing was fair. Very easy to deal with. I will call them for any future plumbing.

Jeff was able to get Derek out first thing in the morning after a pipe broke. Got it fixed quickly and it looks and works great. Also learned a lot from Derek. Super nice people. Highly recommend!

I am really disappointed in the customer service. We made an appointment a week and a half in advance but they basically bailed on us because either they forgot about the appointment or because ""they are really busy"". It seems like they are poorly organized and don't give a crap about smaller customers. They wasted a TON of my time, never came to fix my plumbing issue and the lady on the phone was disrespectful and tried to act like her poor organization was somehow my fault.

The lady on the phone was very unorganized and had a bad attitude. She told me she would call me back on several occasions but then never did. I called to confirm my appointment the day before and I never heard back. The day of my appointment I called to see if they were actually coming and she acted like I never had an appointment. When I explained who I was and that we had spoken previously, she seemed to remember me but said I wasn't on the calendar. She acted like it was somehow my fault she didn't write down my appointment. She kept saying ""we are really busy"" like that somehow excuses them bailing on an appointment made over a week in advance.

I get the impression she screwed up and forgot to write my appointment down. This is really frustrating, but I would have let it go if she actually tried to help me with my plumbing issue. Instead she tried to act like the whole situation was my fault or that it was somehow excusable to bail on an appointment because they are ""really busy"". Guess what... I'm really busy too! And I don't have time for poorly organized people who blame their mistakes on others.

Ive been without a properly working shower for over two weeks and I really need some help! After all that poor communication and bailing on my appointment, the lady on the phone basically recommended I call someone else. It felt like she just wanted to get rid of me. So now I guess I need to find a new plumber and start the waiting process all over again. (Still without a working shower!)

I've used 49er plumbing for several previous jobs and they did great work. I thought I could count on them, but I guess not. I worked with Jeff (the owner, I think) in the past and he was great, but after this experience I really don't feel like I can recommend them anymore. Ive always had a good experience with the actual plumbers, but the poor organization and terrible customer service from the office staff is completely inexcusable.

We had a failing hot water tank and decided to replace it with a tankless unit. We interviewed several plumbers, and we selected 49er Plumbing. The owner, Jeff, demonstrated outstanding knowledge of natural gas tankless technology. He said that he and his employees were factory trained and very experienced with Navien, the unit we selected, and it showed during the installation. Once Jeff and his employees had completed the project, he took the time to answer all of our questions. Jeff's wife, Shannon, who runs their office operation, was a pleasure to work with. Simply put, our experience is that Jeff is an honest, hardworking, highly knowledgable, and reliable plumbing contractor who employs people with his values for top-quality work and excellent customer service. And we are now enjoying endless hot water!

Just received the best service ever. Had our garbage disposal and water filter system replaced in our kitchen and a toilet replaced in one of our bathrooms. Quality products, efficient service, cleaned everything up and took it away. What a difference it made in both kitchen and bath.
