This is hard to believe! Jake came out to take a look at a leaky faucet in my garage. I was shocked at how much it was going to be to fix the faucet but he said he would come out and take a look. He told me exactly what it needed but also said he could cap it so I could have it fixed at a more convenient time. The cap would cost 12.00. I ran upstairs to get a $20.00 bill but he said he didn't have change. While waiting for me, he noticed my bumper sticker and said it was worth the $12.00 and didn't charge me anything. I was really surprised and will be sure to call him the next time I have any plumbing problems. It is hard to find a person who really is interested in helping you out. I plan to recommend him to all my friends in the area!

Jake Smith of 481 Plumb is the real deal. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and he does excellent quality work. He has replaced temperature control valves on two showers, reset wobbly toilets, fixed assorted leaks and I plan to have him install a new garbage disposal for me next week with a new switch and reworked dishwasher air gaps. Jake configured our kitchen plumbing after we remodeled so he started with an open canvass with a lot of pieces and parts. He went the extra mile to clean and lubricate my old parts so they would work as well as the new ones. He also took great care to make all the under sink connections to maximize the limited space we had. That's the kind of thoughtfulness I've never seem before from a plumber. He also went out of his way to try to track down a drain sleeve for the garbage disposal to match our new sink--something I consider way above and beyond the call of duty. Everything turned out great and I couldn't be happier with the work or the price.

Jake is now my plumber for life and I'm going out of my way to tell all my friends about him.
