I've used them off and on for emergency plumbing services since a pipe burst in my front lawn about 5 years ago. So when I called about putting in new bathroom fixtures because I was going to reglaze my tubs and Jimmy mentioned that they do that as well, it seemed like a good deal to just have them do that too. I've done it before but I didn't really want to. He even offered a guarantee for the work. Nice.

Except I then find out they have zero clue how to refinish/reglaze a tub. They came in with not enough supplies (I discovered days later that they used my painting supplies that I had stored there to paint the apartment so obviously there was lint and debris in the glaze). They did one tub in white and the other in gray. Then told me it wasn't gray while we stood there looking at gray.

They came back a 3rd time after I complained and I was feeling hopeful because they scrubbed it out and did a thin layer which might have worked out but then they came again and applied the second (third) coat and it was horrendous again.

I was gonna eat the loss because it was clear at this point they didn't know what they were doing but everyone was being a good sport about it. But after seeing this work , Jimmy asks for the remainder of the payment. What? You should be offering me my money back seeing as how I will not be able to get a professional to come repair this and may have to buy tub liners now.

So I balk because this is embarrassingly terrible and I'm definitely not sending more money for it. He tells me to let it dry and they'll come back on Tuesday which would be the 4th try. He didn't show up or call and I didn't expect him to.

I've shown that vacant unit 6 times since last week and you know what ppl ask if I'm going to fix....the tubs. They look terrible, they're rough, bulky, and they didn't even caulk.

People keep asking who did it and if I paid for that. I'm embarrassed to say that I did. I paid $600 and I could have gone to Home Depot and bought 2 $50 reglazing kits just like they did and gotten better results.

I'm pissed because it's clear that it was a lie. They do not, in fact, reglaze tubs. It looks more like something they wanna practice at and I got to be the test dummy.

This place is horrible no call back 1:30 appt no show called them they said they were stuck on another job they would call when done never called don't use this place

4 Brothers Plumbing is one of the most efficient, trustworthy, and solid companies we have ever hired. They are fair in their pricing, and they were able to finish a huge job we had in our basement in one day in order to accommodate our schedule. We suggested waiting until we returned from vacation, but they assured us they could get it done before we left, and they did. They also returned to our house the day after we got home to put our items in our basement back in place. The basement actually looks better after they arranged everything! I am so happy with the service, and they are some of the nicest young men out there. You have a customer for life!

I was disappointed with them with installing my hot water heater. I used them before and the work was great so I tried again. They did a great job and was very nice but they told me I was getting a water heater for $800 and even place that amount on my receipt (see below) but when I checked the serial# at Home Depot where they purchased the heater, it only cost $469 dollars. When I speak with them, I asked for a refund for the different, but they just said I agreed to the amount, without even acknowledging their worker purchased a lower model heater. So they basically charged me $800 to install the heater. I was hoping I found an honest company, but sadly I don't. Please make sure you get a breakdown before you agree to the work. I really wanted to use them again for other work, but now I have to find another company.

They came and turned off our water at 9 am no notice or phone call they didn't ring the bell.I was in the middle of a shower couldn't believe it .So the appt.was 4 to 6 pm. Mike Never showed up or called and our water was still off.We contacted him and he hung up on us.Thank goodness my husband figured out what he did and had water on at 8 pm.What is wrong with people.Doesnt anyone take pride in there work anymore!

They scheduled an appointment with me and never showed up or called or emailed. No contact to say they were late or had to reschedule. Not a good impression. Would have understood them not making the appointment but no contact is unacceptable for a business.

Wow! Where do I begin? There are so many nice things that I can say about these guys. These gents are basically the OG Plumbers of Chicago. I've worked with them on a few projects and I have been so happy time after time. Jimmy and his crew are professional, honest, and punctual. After working with multiple plumbers in the city I can say that without a doubt they have been the easiest to work with. Jimmy and his team have helped me with gas leaks, sump pump installations, leaks, sewer maintenance, cement work and more. Not only are they good at what they do they leave the job site as if nobody was ever there. This team follows up and guarantees their work. I've been especially impressed with how responsive they have been when I've had any questions. I could go on and on with how nice it has been working with them but I'd probably have enough good things to say to go on and write an essay. I've sent their contact info to friends and family members and they have all been really happy with their work. I look forward to continue working with Jimmy and his team. I used them in two projects recently on my investment properties and they were great. The workers are nice and personable and they do a great job including clean-up. We are definitely calling them in again on our next project.
