Outstanding satisfaction from 3rd Generation Professional Plumbing. I was visiting a nice place called Gulf View Waterfront Resort, in Marathon, FL While there decided to change out the shower head myself (guest with remodeling experience of over 40 years) for one with a hose extension and with permission from the Personnel working there. Unfortunately, and although very recently remodeled by the former homeowner (note: not by a professional, but it looked good as the bathroom was totally redone recently), I learned the hard way that the former homeowner/remodeler used wrong products on the threads when he installed the shower head originally. The brass shower head too easily snapped off. Shower head threads usually have teflon tape or thread group and should only be hand tightened if properly installed. This shower head was practically welded on??? NOT originally Done right. We called 3rd Generation Plumbing of Marathon at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon, their plumber showed up within an hour. What could have been a potentially expensive repair (tile replacement in shower and more) was promptly and professionally handled because the 3rd Generation plumber had with him, and knew how to use, the right tool to avert what could have been a disaster. He skillfully worked without even scratching the recently installed marble tiles. Our plumber was polite, efficient, honest, and professional. In about 15 minutes the plumber successfully made the proper repair and replacement we wanted. We're grateful for 3rd Generation Plubing and their excellent service! I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

I originally had a great opinion of this company due to my conversation with the owner, Shonnabelle (sp?) who was very nice. They sent a plumber. He was pleasant enough but tracked in a lot of yard debris on his shoes and was quite sloppy. Our complaint was a toilet that was always blocked. He repaired it but the next day the problem continued. We called back and was told that he was going on vacation for 5 days so agreed that he could call when he returned. Three weeks went by and we called to make another appointment. He came back with a not so pleasant attitude telling us that the condo association was old and that was the reason for the problem. Are you kidding me? We pushed and used some sort of power gun to clear the line. We were shocked to see the bill, which was another $244 to come back and finish the job. We called this morning and talked to the owner's son who has no experience with customer service. We wanted to come up with a win-win solution, which for him was reducing the fee by $18. Not acceptable. So he stated that he would put a lien on the property. I will share this with everyone I talk with, as well as have a contact at the Chamber of Commerce who will also be informed of this terrible practice. Do not use this company! This son's attitude is going to cost their company more than the fee they charge. I will share this with everyone here that I meet and will post a note in the condo association.

We hired Third Generation Plumbing to connect our sewer. We asked them specifically to trench around some large trees we had in the front yard as we were very concerned about damage to them. Despite our directions, they did trench right through the trees very closely and one of the 40 foot dogwoods has died because it's roots were cut. After months of contacting Third Generation Plumbing, they have refused to take any responsibility and will not compensate for any damage. I would strongly recommend that you find a different Plumbing Company for your needs.
