Called 3D Plumbing after having an issue with our Rinnai Tankless. After speaking with Darnell Drew it's owner I was convinced they were the company to work on the issue.
He showed up on the day for the work and was a little early which worked well for me. Not only did he address the Code 11 problem we were having, he also performed a full manufacture's recommended service on it after a discussion of the unit.
Our unit is a little over five years old and we also live very close to orchards and a diary. When he pointed out several important areas of the inside, I have to say I was a little shocked at how dirty these get with the dual venting system they have.
He went through the entire unit as per the recommended maintenance and was more than willing to explain each step and why it was important. I was satisfied with his explanations and what he was doing to make our Rinnai like new again.
He was friendly and communicates very well with his customers. I had been referred to him by a neighbor who had several visits with good company. You can't go wrong with choosing him for any issues on yours.
Pricing was fair for all the time and detail he took in serving the Rinnai. We will definitely call him again with any future issues and for the annual maintenance which I asked about so as to avoid no available hot water at the worse possible times.

Our water heater had a recall and 3D Green Plumbing was referred to us for the job. The owner called me back within minutes to tell me that he has a technician near by and he could be over shortly. Jamal came within 30 minutes. He explained what was wrong and what had to be done. Friendly and knowledgeable customer service. The whole job only took 30 minutes or so. Highly recommend this plumbing company.

this place advertises on the radio to have them come perform a yearly hot water heater tank drain to remove the sediment at the bottom - unless things changed just recently...the industry STOPPED installing tank valves at the bottom of the tank where you USED to be able to drain them yourself once a year AND also tap into it with a garden hose to get the hottest water possible for pressure washing, etc...but quite a long time ago...the industry started to omit them and haven't seen them since

What a star! Helpful, professional, cost conscience, and prompt! A dream come true. When my hot water heater gasped, it's last breath, I seized the opportunity to pursue the nirvana which is an endless supply of hot water with a tankless system. It was a bit of a maze in talking with a variety of different firms. However, after speaking with Donell, the choice was easy. A huge plus was his ability to acquire the Rinnai model I wanted and install it soon after. Highly recommend!!!-

Darnell is friendly and easy to work with. That's where it stops. We've had several issues with his workmanship including INCORRECT installation of the whole house water filtration system, and leaks in every thing he installed.

I got an Aquasana whole house water filter/softener, an RO under-sink filtration and two faucets (in the second bathroom) installed in December 2017 by him.

Why did I choose 3D Plumbing - it was one of the 3 plumbing companies suggested by Aquasana for installation of the whole house water filter/softener.

He ended up breaking the main valve for water that comes into the house. He had to fix it. He charged me $125 + parts to fix a problem he caused.

The under-sink RO filter he installed was leaking after installation. So, was one of the faucets in the second bathroom. We had to get him back the next day to fix these leaks. The leak from the RO filter was fixed. However, the leak in the bathroom sink faucet was not completely fixed. So, I fixed it myself after his second attempt failed. It was a simple fix for me, once I discovered where the leak was.

Why am I writing the review right now? I had a suspicion that he switched the inlet and outlet into the whole-house filtration system within a week after installation. However, today (almost 6 months after installation), I spent more time to investigate and discovered that the inlet and outlet are indeed switched. So, I have to get another plumber to have it fixed, and of course spend some decent chunk of change.

Lastly, although he was supposed to have received training to install the Aquasana system, he did not have all the tools required to install the filtration system. He had to lease one important tool from a plumbing outlet in Modesto. He charged me for that as well.

So, after seeing his work, I'm coming to the conclusion that he does plumbing as a second job, and it is not his primary profession. I cannot recommend him to anyone for doing any plumbing work.

We originally called 3D Plumbing off a referral to replace our 75 gallon water heater. It was recommended to discuss a tankless water heater wirh Darnell. He explained the benefits of one, the cost savings, and maintenance; we opted for one. He recommended Navien system, which was more expensive but after explaining - thoroughly - the benefit we went for it. I am happy to say ALL his talking points came true. Water is quickly heated and distributed all around the house, maintenance issues are low, and our gas bill was greatly reduced. After a year, we have seen at least a 40% reduction in our gas bill. We highly recommend 3D Plumbing. Service is fast, honest, friendly, and personal. Thanks Darnell
