Found Best Plumbing through Yelp. They had exceptional reviews, so I took a chance.

The kitchen drain had been slowly draining since Thanksgiving. We tried the usual remedies, but to no avail. After calling several other plumbers who stated that they don't come out this far (I live in Penasquitos - not Hemet), I called Best Plumbing and the person on the line was very professional and gave me an appointment for the next day with a 2 hour window. She stated that someone would call me 30 minutes in advance.

I received the confirmation call as stated, and Guiermo and his trainee were at my door within the designated time. When he introduced himself, I told him that I was pleased that he responded as he had been mentioned by name in several other reviews. I mentioned this to him and he seemed very surpised.

The problem was quickly assessed, they cleared out the drain and I was back in business. They gave me a 90 day warranty at a reasonable price and a discount because I found them on Yelp. Guiermo was a great mentor to his trainee as well.

I highly recommend this business and appreciate their professionalism.

We finally got tired of the washer-rinse-spin-drain cycle water overflowing the drain pipe and onto the kitchen floor. I had already tried to open the drain pipe more with one of those small manually operated snake tools, but that did not clear it enough to resolve this issue.

So I went to this yelp site in search of some more 'help', with the criteria that (a) the price was not too high, (b) the plumber drain cleaning service could agree to do the job the same day, and finally, (c) there were some recent reviewers of them that seem to valid they were the 'best' for the job.

So I called these guys in the early afternoon (on a recent Nov Wednesday) and 'negotiated' a price that was acceptable with a very polite and professional sounding person in their office. They stayed in touch with me about being a little late, which is always good and courteous to keep the next client informed of when to expect them to arrive.

They went right to work with their 'big rooter-router' thing, and within about 25 minutes they were all finished with the dirty work, and proceeded to clean up whatever spots were on the floor area nearby. They were done, ....when they filled up the washer again, and then proceeded to watch for any more buildup of water in the drain pipe during the rinse-spin cycle. Good job! Courteous, Professional, and quickly done....that's what I was expecting ... and that is what I got. Highly recommend them.

Exceptional courtesy, workmanship, and professionalism.

At my request, Giermo tried to fix my 20 year old shower valve for the lowest cost and when that did not work 100% he applied the costs toward a proper repair that took less time than expected and looks like a million bucks. He drove up to north county (without extra cost to me) to get a part unavailable in San Diego so that my tenants would have the shower up and running as soon as possible. He called each time to let me, and my tenants, know when he would be on the job and showed up when he said he would. He knocked on doors to let the other residents know the water would need to be shut off (whole building shut-off only) for a short period during the repairs.

Giermo went beyond what I have ever experienced from a plumbing company before and I whole heartily recommend Best Plumbing to everyone. Thanks Giermo.

I read the reviews. Mostly they were favorable. I made an appointment with Joe to come out on Monday between 8-11. At 10:30 he called me to tell me he would be late. At 11:20 he called to say he was on his way.
He came in, cleared my sink, charged me $45 (which is on the low-end of the plumbers pay scale), shook my hand and left. He was courteous and fast. I will call again!

I recently asked a friend of mine if she knew a reputable plumber. She said yes and recommended this one right away. I was so excited because when things go wrong it is stressful enough! Now the stressful part... I make an appointment and they never showed up... No call... Nothing. When I called I could only leave a message. They didn't try to sell us on anything else at the time, and they recommended some products from the Internet that might help our system. We've found a new plumber.

We had a mainline clogged, as we normally get each year a bit after it rains. I call Best Plumbing and Guillermo came out with Gustavo. I told him that they normally snake the main from the roof because there is no clean out that is easily accessible. I show him the clean out that at least 5 other plumbers said couldn't be done (affordable drains, bill howe, etc) and he said it was a little awkward, but totally doable. He explained that the other guys just wanted to charge me the extra roof fee. He quoted us $135 vs the normal $200-$250 i had been paying, and even used the camera to take a look (I got quoted $1200 for a camera inspection from another guy). Then things started getting bad. My main had massive roots in it and the little secondary snake couldn't break them up. The issue was on the city side (as we found with the cool camera locator thing), but the city wont touch it unless there is an external clean out. The other plumbers had always said I needed a new mainline and the problem was on my side, but with Best Plumbings high tech equipment, they determined it was a city issue. I didn't have a lot of options at this point, and they were to install a single sweep, or a dual sweep for a bit more money. I opted for the dual so they could use a real mainline machine to go up to my house for future issues. They pulled about 10 lbs of roots out of the city line, having to send the main snake in 3 or 4 times until they had the massive cutter bit on it. Then they used the camera to show me that all my pipes were totally clean. They marked the city side where the holes were (and the roots grew in) and filed a claim with the city to get the pipes taken care of. I paid $2365, and its a lot, but my neighbor had to do the same last year and it was $5500 for the same work. I'd received quotes from $5000 to $8500 for fixing the mainline and I knew Guillermo wasn't BS'ing me because every other plumber said that I would have to do this. They were done in a day and those guys work damn hard! I will only use best plumbing for all my future issues.

3 plumbers looked at my job. 1 overcharged for a camera job and gave an exorbitant quote. 1 didn't have the equipment to do the work and another had a horrible attitude and flat out said he didn't want to do it... but would gladly help me with other projects. (??) No, I won't be calling him back.
Guillermo was professional, respectful, attentive, patient, and definitely went above and beyond. This was a major job - excavating under the house, drilling through the footing, cutting through my deck (ugh!) and replacing 15 feet of mainline. Not fun. He kept a positive attitude when things got ugly and maintained communication with me via texting photos of the work.
It was a lot of work. And it was filthy. But he ensured the work was done right and he spoke in a language that I understood. No chip on his shoulder, ethical, creative, knowledgeable, thorough, confident without being cocky, and easygoing.
This is definitely my plumber if I need to call on one again.
The work was expensive (to me - but keep in mind this was MAJOR damage), yet well worth it. Totally professional and highly recommended.

A well trusted friend recommended Guillermo when I was in a tough situation where I needed a plumber. The contracter who changed my bathroom tile did it incorrectly and left me with an expensive mess. Best plumbing came out the next day to fix the problem.
