Recommended Customer Reviews

By far the best and most cooperative plumbing company in San Angelo. They went way above and beyond to help with our plumbing issues. Very good people.

I literally never leave reviews, but Tayler and his partner were very professional and not creepy, (like some of the plumbers I've worked with). I would definitely work with 3ds again due to such a pleasant experience.

First of all they have raised their hourly rate since the last time I used them. $135 an hour, and on top of that hourly rate they charged me $30 for "the big machine" (this is verbatim what they wrote on my receipt) to route out my houses drain pipe that had clogged up causing water to back up into the bath tubs, and toilets to overflow. The job took literally less than 15 minutes, they charged for a full hour, PLUS a fee for their own equipment that they brought and used. What kind of plumber charges you a fee for the equipment they own to do the job?? Total $165 to snake a drain in under 15 minutes. Guys were great, professional, and capable, the price and added fee for the snake was a JOKE. By they way they also charge you for their travel time, from their last job to your home, again a JOKE because who knows where they are coming from before they get to your house. If you are the first job of the day, they charge from their building to your house. Plan on paying for at least 15-20 minutes drive time. Definitely using another plumber next time who doesn't make up fees to tack onto an already high hourly rate.

Called them today and they were prompt in coming over. 1 man, spent 3 hours looking into and "fixing" a toilet that was leaking from the floor. Tonight my children go to shower and the entire floor is nothing but flooded... water pouring from the bottom (whereas before it was just a slow leak.) $350 I spent for him to waste our time doing absolutely nothing but make the problem worse. Needless to say I'll be calling tomorrow to see if they'd be willing to come over and reassess (free of charge) because I'm not a millionaire. *update* I called this morning and they sent guys over within 30 minutes. They're repairing yesterday's work for free, however I'll need to pay for them to snake my drain. I've raised my review from 1 to 3 stars because the admin I talked to on the phone is always very polite and the guys who come over are equally courteous. I was just seriously upset with my flooded floor last night.

3 D's Plumbing did a terrible job at my parents house. There was a water leak and the guys cut big holes in wall in bedroom, living room, laundry room bathroom looking for something and finally found it outside to fix problem. In the laundry room pulled cabinet from wall which was drilled into wall so they left 2 torn holes on the wall. They went into attic and was drilling, drilled slipped and they put a good size hole in ceiling which the did not tell them. The walls where plumbers cut out they left wide open, did not cover back with the sheetrock they cut out. Living room was panel. Outside the plumbers took the lids off watersprinkler and shutoff value and just left the lids on ground did not put back on. My parents are in their 90's and everything plumbers pulled out they just left it in middle of floor, had to have someone come straighten and pick up. Wish you could post minus star.

First of all I did not call or authorize 3 D's to do this job, my tenant did without my permission. The bill was very expensive and it took 2 men 2 hours to fix a simple leak on a 3/4" line in an open front yard. My wife and I fixed a similar leak on this line earlier this year and it took less than 40 minutes. I was not there but my tenant was and he said "They sure milked it for all it was worth". It was on the weekend and I knew it would be pretty high, But......$172.50 an hour for 2 hours plus parts....you do the math....WOW! I called 3D's to express my dissatisfaction and talked to the secretary who was very professional, understanding and nice. I told her I was unhappy with the price and the length of time I was charged for. I told her it wasn't leaking and they did fix it right(I checked it). I thanked her and told her I would never use 3 D's plumbing again. I would have let it end there and not posted this review had the owners wife, (I think that was who she said she was), called me back. Started out really nice but after a few minutes into the conversation she got really defensive and started putting blame on everyone but 3 D's and her guys. I told her I was a handyman and that my wife and I fixed a comparable leak in less than 40 minutes, but I was unavailable to fix this one because I was out of town. She scoffed and said "oh, a handyman, well my guys are licensed plumbers". I told her, as I stated earlier, it was no longer leaking and it appeared that they fixed it correctly but I felt that we were taken advantage of. Once again she stated that her Men were licensed plumbers. I guess dragging that license around with you makes you work a bit slower. After wasting about 20 minutes of my time trying to get me to admit everything was my fault she told me to just find another plumber next time. Don't worry, I will. I thanked her, told her I would not be recommending 3 D's to anyone I knew, said good bye and ended a frustrating experience with 3 D's plumbing.

Have used them in past and were fine for little things, although they did not show up as early as they said they would. Then had a larger issue then would entail jackhammering up the slab of our house. Scheduled appointment to take care of issue. Billy and his assistant were prompt and handled the problem quickly. Very happy with the job done. Price was less than we originally thought it would be. Would recommend 3D Plumbing to friends and family and will use them again in the future.

Fast, efficient, friendly, professional. The receptionist was informative, and the plumbing tech called to confirm the appointment time, got the job done right in a timely manner, and even suggested some helpful plumbing tips. I did deduct 1 star because of the extremely high pricing, but other than that, a great company.
