I would never recommend either one of these companies to anyone. There was water damage done and I called them and they would say they were coming and sometimes would show up and other times they wouldn't.
We had so many problems with both Of them. My elderly parent was dealing with them at first until I got the call from them that they were cursed out and threatened that they were going to come and rip out all the work they started. I called them and got the same Conversation from them. So my husband called and one of them threatened they were going to beat him up. After all of this we spoke to john and he finally finished the job. But it's still not done right. I would never use them and recommend that you think twice before anyone calls them. NO ONE SHOULD BE TALKED TO LIKE THAT.....

My faucet started leaking 6 days before Thanksgiving. John from 24/7 Plumbing & Restoration responded to my Yelp search, gave me a quote on the low end of the offers, and was available in a reasonable time frame.
When John and Matt arrived, they were not wearing masks, but were immediately willing to do so at my request. Then, when it was shown that I bought the wrong faucet for my sink, they went and bought a correct one (I did pay for the item). After finishing, as they were leaving, I discovered the spray on the new unit was faulty, but as I had somewhere to be, there was no time for them to fix it. John not only offered to come back and replace the broken item, but ensured it actually happened! Some places only are helpful until the check clears, but John sent Matt back to finish the job a week later, when I was finally available. I also appreciated how willing they were to work around my current hectic schedule, without getting upset.

24/7 definitely deserves 5 stars for John and Matt's professionalism and their work. I would definitely hire them again, though, of course, I hope I never need to.

BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS SMOOTH-TALKING CHARACTER, in his heavily decaled van. I felt compelled to share my experience, although I rarely post such reviews. I own several properties on Long Island (NY) and have utilized the services of many plumbers over the years.

If you are a potential new customer, you will likely get a quick call back and a fast response from John. Unfortunately, as I discovered, you are not at all likely to get a callback, should there be an issue with the results of his work, which was what occurred in my case.

For starters, if you bring him into your home, DO NOT ACCEPT any of his recommendations in terms of fixtures, faucets, filtration systems, or any plumbing components. As I discovered, after the fact, all of the components will be of poor quality, and will be the least expensive available [although you will not realize any of that discount], with all of his recommendations and components sourced from the inventory of the single supplier that he works closely with over the phone.

Secondly, when and if you experience issues with his handiwork, you will be up the creek, since you will have an invoice completely devoid of meaningful detail, zero documentation relating to the manufacturer or source of the component, and no call back from him -- Representing good liability protection for John, but not for you.
