I had a few issues to resolve. I had some lighting and plumbing that stopped working. He came and did a free estimate. During the estimate he showed me the light was a simple fix. So no charge. He then went through the issues with me and my new garbage disposal. I really appreciated how fast he responded and the knowledge he had about both my issues. Let's just say that Ray cares about his customers as much as he does the job he gets done. Sometimes people over-promise and under-deliver (which is just the worst). And businesses often under-promise and over-deliver (which is rare, and oftentimes a selling point). Well, Ray over-promised and over-delivered (is that even possible?)

Our water heater was in its last days and I could tell it was going downhill fast. It was a Thursday evening and I was losing hope that I'd get someone before the weekend hit. Well, Ray to the rescue. He responded via Yelp Thursday night letting me know to give him a call first thing Friday.

Well, I did. And Ray walked me through step by step what it's going to look like and that he can come in Friday afternoon to get the water heater replaced. He answered all my questions BEFORE the job, made sure I knew everything I was going to purchase BEFORE he purchased it all. I was in the know and he did not try to sell me anything else I didn't need -- which I always appreciate. In fact, he went the extra mile to offer me different pricings and options for the water heater and its parts so I can pick for myself. He gave his two cents about the parts and the water heater AFTER I asked him about the difference, and not just rambling about his opinions trying to sell us the most expensive ones.

Then, he came as promised right around noon and went right to fixing our mess. Got it done in a matter of few hours making it look awesome. Oh, but Ray isn't done after the installation and fix. He made sure to go over every little thing he did so that I wasn't left confused about anything. And he documented it all so I have it for my records. Then, he leaves saying I can let him know if I notice any further problems with it so he can make sure to tidy it up, not that I think I'll need it because he already did an awesome job for us.

The job cost us right around what we thought it would cost us and that's always a good thing.

A nice cherry on top is that Ray is very personable and is pleasant to talk with and is a people person. Might I add that he had a great attitude--not the kind of attitude that appears he's in it for the money. Nope. That's always the type of person we enjoy doing business with.

I was need of a few minor things that other contractors and handyman left unfinished. One was a leak from a faucet that was slowly destroying my cabinets. Because it was not water sealed by the person that put it in. The other one was a hole in my garage wall that an election left after fixing an electrical pipe from a tree falling and cut the power line and broke the pipe the city would not sign off on it until the hole was covered properly and some unused switches covered. The contractor never came back to fix. Mr Fix it when above and beyond to get them fixed in a timely manner. I passed my inspection no problem. I would use and highly recommend his work.
