Robert came to my house and fixed a pinhole leak in a copper pipe that had developed in my wall. He was one of very few local plumbers that actually answered the phone when I called, and made arrangements to come the same day that I called--even after hours, in the evening. Robert allowed me, the homeowner, to help him with certain aspects of the job (like removing the vanity), so that the job could go by quicker. He was very patient and didn't mind me hovering over his shoulder so that I could watch and observe. He also was cool with me doing the drywall repair and was happy to just do the work that I asked him to do (fixing a pipe). I know that some contractors will insist on doing *all* of the work, and will bill you accordingly, even when you're handy and willing to do some of the work yourself.

On top of all of this, Robert was very patient and accommodating while I tried to get my Mickey Mouse home warranty company to reimburse me. When the home warranty company insisting on really asinine invoice requirements, Robert was happy to send not one, but three different invoices to satisfy them.

I don't have a good basis to judge Robert's pricing because he was the only plumber that I called, but I feel like what I paid was fair based on: (A) the amount of time he spent on the issue; and (B) how far out in the country I am.

Robert will be my first call for plumbing needs, and I'll keep him in mind for HVAC issues as well.

Words cannot convey how ecstatic my husband and I are that we reached out to 21st Century Plumbing to assist us with locating a water leak on our property. Unfortunately, we had contacted THREE other companies to assist us with this task. We were quoted by the previous contractors that it would cost thousands of dollars to remedy our problem!! If not for one of the contractors suggesting to us that we find another contractor, we would have never been blessed to have Robert, of 21st Century Plumbing to ""save the day"". Robert arrived at 10:30 a.m. and did not leave until 11:30 p.m. He was determined to find our leak and he did. He gave us a quote at the beginning of the day, and honored that quote. Robert and his crew showed their knowledgeable and expertise by utilizing ""out of the box"" methods to locate and repair our leak.

I will let Robert tell what method he used to locate our leak when you hire him for your job. 21st Century Plumbing was ""Heaven Sent"".

We had a broken water line under the floor in upstair bathroom. Called 3 or4 plumbing companies, no one could help me until the following week. Then I called 21st century plumbing,talk to Robert, and his first question was ""where do you live"". He was at our house in less than 20 minutes,looked at the problem, made a suggestion as to the fix and in less than 2 hours we were repaired. Because of his professionalism I had Robert do some other plumbing related work. Robert has a mind for problem solving, is quick and decisive and an all around brillant craftsman.

Excellent service! Our hot water heater broke, I called Robert at 5:45pm, he was at our house at 7pm. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and fast. He even fixed our broken sink handles while he was here. Highly recommend calling 21st Century!

Robert absolutely hooked us up and I would recommend him 100%. This was our first winter in Placerville and our heater was not blowing into our room or the baby's bedroom. You can imagine how unpleasant that was! He came out on short notice, went into our attic and gave us a full scope overview of what work needs to be done and what work could be done in the future. The heating system is quite dated, so my husband and I had some serious discussions about what repairs we could afford. A few days later, Robert called us out of the blue and said he had some free time and could swing by to make some quick repairs and get us comfortable for the time being. Within an hour we had heat blasting in both bedrooms! As I was writing him a check for his time, he said ""don't worry about it, have a great day."" If you have any HVAC needs, don't hesitate to call Robert.

Finally had a snowfall in Camino. Which is not the time you want to find out that your furnace isn't working, but it IS the time you're likely to find out that your furnace isn't working. Thankfully, Robert was able to make it out the same day, diagnosed the problem (control board on the furnace was shot, which isn't a huge surprise for a 20+ year old furnace), identified an additional issue (furnace was pulling some very dirty makeshift make up air out of the crawl space where it's installed), and gave me a fair quote for all the work. Good guy, good business. Like a lot of my clients say about me, I hope I don't need Robert's again, but if I do, I'll happily give him a call. So should you.

I explained my problem to Robert over the phone. He came prepared including a water heater replacement & fixed the faucet leaking in the downstairs bathroom. He kept me posted of his arrival time & finished within 2 hours. He & Aaron were very thorough & professional. It is hard to find repair services that will come to Cool, CA so YES, I will recommend them again.

Robert was the only plumber that answered my calls on a holiday week and was at my house in less than an hour getting started on repairs. He took care of a water heater leak and sewer line leak very quickly for a reasonable price. Nice guy and great service.
