I gave one star for being on time. The problem i have is with what I was charged for a simple plumbing disconnect of a bathroom vanity that took 10 minutes to complete and then a reconnect a couple hours later after i had a new vanity top and sink installed. I needed the plumbing reconnected and a new faucet put in and i had provided all of the parts needed to do the job. Being charged over $800.00 is outrageous. I had the vanity/sink installer all lined up for that day and it being a 50th Birthday surprise present for my husband, in which the gentleman knew this. The only way I was going to get the job done that day was to agree to pay the amount requested. I paid less than this amount for the new granite vanity top with the new sink that included installation. Being charged over $800 for Labor only for a
disconnect that took 10 minutes and a reconnect that took an hour is being taken advantage of. I called the office this morning and asked to speak to a manager or one of the owners and was told someone would call me back, which never happened. I am writing this so other people do not get taken advantage of by this Company. Liz C. 8-11-2017

Did a great job of install, people really nice at installation - the problem came later.

Their website says '$250 off' if you use WEBOFFER. Which, to be extremely clear, I asked for BEFORE we signed up for the installation.

I never got the money because they decided it needed to be on the contract... I asked for it to be included BEFORE we signed, because they said it comes later, and I trusted it would. However the money never came because it was meant to be on the contract (I know - that's what I asked for; go figure).

They argued it was our fault because it wasn't on the contract (you know, they contract they draw up and get you to sign and say that they'll find out about it later?? That one!!).

Extremely peeved at extremely slack after and before service. Just make sure you DON'T sign anything until any discounts are on EVERYTHING!!!

I was just ripped off TREMENDOUSLY. The service technician was excellent, Sean B. He was here to put freon in my A/C unit which was $516 for his services and freon. I was told it would be best to put a super seal in my unit, which I was charged $300. The technician was already here so how is it possible it cost me $300 for something that generally cost $50-$80. It literally took him 5 minutes or less (I'm being generous). The company refuses to do anything about it and says that is what they charge. This is highway robbery and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Natalia R. posted last month the service man wasn't responsible for the prices and I am going to try to reach her. Perhaps her mother was ripped off too. If everyone complains about having money STOLEN from them by this company to the BBB, then perhaps they won't be so quick to rip us off. Did they rip Natalia's mother off too because she is a Woman??? Well perhaps there is a discrimination problem as well!!!!

My mother called for an inspection from 20-20 Air. The guy that arrived immediately showed himself as a profesional. He asked what was the main problem with our air conditioning system (the reason why we called) and he checked the thermostats and the furnace. He is not responsible for the prices he says, and would definitely request his services again!

20/20 Air Service serviced my air conditioner compressor. The issue was damage to wiring caused by mice. They said it was quite an extensive repair and also needed a new contactor (worn no damaged). Told me it would take a while and that the parts with the parts it would be $688. They also said they needed me to sign an authorization and give my credit card information. It turned out that the repair took about 20 minutes. Altogether he was at my house for an 1 1/4 hours. Later I looked up the parts on the internet to learn they cost about $25. When I complained they said they billed by a ""flat rate"" and on by the time or materials. I feel that they are cleverly perpetrating a scam on their clients. Don't use unless you don't mind being seriously gouged.

During the installation of a new system in our house, it was a pleasure to have William as the lead installer. William definitely has the technical expertise and the managerial skills to keep the team on track. He has very good communication skills and consistently kept us apprised of the status of the installation. We have had a number of contractors and tradespeople who have worked in our house over the past 18 years. William is by far one of the hardest working and most courteous people with whom we have worked. We look forward to seeing him when the annual servicing for the summer is done.

Every person who works for this company is a con artist--from the technicians who come to your house and lie and tell you need $$$$ repairs on brand new equipment, to the girls on the phone who lie and say they are trying to help you but never call you back, to the so-called finance person who is NEVER in the office and continues billing you for months even after you cancel your contract IN WRITING and never returns your call. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and DO NOT SIGNUP for a service contract with them. You will regret it just like I do.

Price gouging. My furnace was leaking so I called from the phone book. Their technician said I needed 3 things replaced for a total of $1,970. I quickly looked online to see what these parts cost and all three cost about $150. When I called their office to find out why there was such a high mark up, they told me the prices are set based on what it costs the, to run the business. Repairing any one of those items alone would have meant draining my furnace. No problem paying for that process. What didn't seem fair was paying full price for each of the other two items at full price because baked into those prices was the cost of draining the furnace. So 2020Air wanted me to pay 3 times for a service they would do only once. For example, they were going to charge me $792 to replace two vents on my furnace. I could buy these parts at a very reputable plumbing supply house in Danbury for $15.65 each or $30.65 for two. They also wanted to charge me $616 to replace an expansion tank. I could buy that from the supply store for $69.60.
If they're already going to repair one part (which includes draining the furnace), why gouge me and make me pay two more times for the same for the thing. Plenty of other hvac repair shops around. Stay away from 2020Air.

I just saw a response from 20/20 Air regarding the negative review that I wrote about them. I would like to point out that the agreement that I signed with them was in 2009. When I decided that I no longer wished to use their services (mainly because of the amount that I was charged or going to be charged for the service call(s) even though I had a contract with them) I thought that the call to their office would suffice. Obviously, I was incorrect. If they did call me to schedule further appointments I replied that I no longer wished to use their services. At no time was I informed that they needed a written letter to that effect - once again they held me to a contract signed by me in 2009. If they had mentioned that a letter was needed to discontinue service - do you believe that one would not have been forthcoming? Once I found out that a letter was needed I sent it off immediately and yet it still took two weeks to meet their requirements. In my opinion, the morally correct thing to do should be to inform those no longer willing to use their services that a written notice is mandatory. I guess the company feels that once they have you (as in the 2009 contract agreement) your theirs for the long haul. Look elsewhere for service(s) there are plenty of fine upstanding air/heating services in the area.
