Rick and Janet launched the company in August 2006. Tony joined the team later that year. They decided to create their own company after experiencing issues with a plumber who exploited customers. Their vision was to provide excellent service at fair rates and sustain a livelihood. At 2 Guys & A Gal Plumbing, we value treating our customers as we wish to be treated.

With 24 years of plumbing knowledge, I contribute to 2 Guys & A Gal Plumbing. I started in the plumbing industry in 1987 as a bookkeeper and dispatcher at a family-operated plumbing company in Waukegan, IL. I remained with that plumbing firm until 2002, when I met and married my husband Tony.

In 2005, I was invited by a different local plumbing firm to help run their business. I was introduced to this plumber through my earlier employment. After nearly a year there, two licensed plumbers and I decided to leave and establish 2 Guys & A Gal Plumbing. Rick Palmer, my partner, was among those plumbers. Due to personal reasons, the other plumber did not continue with us, and that’s when Tony, my husband, joined the team. My daughter Christina is part of our team as well.
