They came back and rectified the installation after it was originally incomplete. They did it quickly and professionally

Choice Home Warranty sent me Ist Response Plumbing and Flood Damage to fix the leak under the sink of our kitchen. Brandon, the plumber was excellent. He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job, a fast worker and took time answering our questions. Anna the receptionist, is a good asset to this company. She did a great job communicating my request with Choice Home Warranty to have my problem fix. She has a good work ethics.
I will give this company from1out 10, a 10+.
I'm glad I switched my home warranty company to Choice Home Warranty. An A+ company.

I would like to share my first hand experience with 1st response. Andrea, franky and Sarah in the office were amazing! They helped me with my insurance claim from start to finish. The process was difficult to navigate especially this being our 1st insurance claim. They made the process so easy and pain free for a home owner like myself. The technician Carlos who came out to my home to perform the work needed was clean, hard-working, communicative and respectful. I highly recommend their team for your next plumbing or flood needs.

I would very much recommended 1st response Plumbing and Restoration. I want to thank you Frankie who handle restoration for my Chula Vista house. Frankie was very knowledgeable so the progress very smooth which I went from very stressful situation to worry free. Frankie would answers all my questions so very helpful. I am very happy to work with him again in the future and want to share my experience here.

WARNING!! FRAUDS. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! Billed my insurance $35,000 with a made up invoice of work never done. PLEASE READ!
I had a water heater issue, my home warranty company sent these guys to my home. They set up 4 small dryers (2 were blowers you get at home depot) and some machine in my garage to pull moisture. In the mean time they said don't worry about anything, we will deal with your insurance. They were quick to have me sign a contract for the restoration work that needed to be done. My homeowners wouldn't work with them for restoration so they said they were off the job. As soon as they found out they weren't getting the job they completely ignored my calls and texts. I couId'n't even get an answer on their main line. I called everyday for weeks and no answer. I was leaving messages to come pick up their equipment over and over for 2 months! It was packed up in my garage after the first 10 days of use. Instead of answering my calls and texts, they were sending strange guys to my house every week for ""an equipment check"" in their own vehicles, not company vehicles. I said why are you here to look at packed up machines that have been sitting here for weeks? The guy just shrugged his shoulders. I asked what was going on and why they weren't answering the phone or texts. I asked him to have Frankie call me asap (project manager) and nothing. He said Frankie is at the hospital with his wife then the next guy said he's on vacation. I was telling him that this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of and that they need to take their machines off my property!!! They just kept coming no matter what I said. Unreal. The new restoration company (sent by homeowners) had their own machines there and the demo had already been completed. 1st Response FINALLY picked up the machines after 2 months.
Then I started getting obscene phone calls from one of their employees. Explicit obscene facetime calls. t terrified me, I had to go to the police. I found out they billed my insurance company $35,000 and got paid! It was a completely fraudulent invoice. That's why they wouldn't take the machines, they were billing for 2 months of inoperable machines sitting in my garage. Now it makes sense. I asked through email and text 20 times to see the invoice and no response! They did NOTHING. This has caused me so much anguish and stress I can't even describe how terrible they are. Legal action soon to come. Look them up on BBB, they have an F rating and are not BBB accredited. Nothing but FRAUDS. Don't trust Frankie aka Freddie or Andrea Tostado or the owner I think it's Robert Cervantes. They don't do any work but bill your insurance company. If I hadn't been persistent I would have never known that they did a fradulent invoice for $35,000 and got paid. I guarantee if other people call their insurance company and ask they will find the same thing has happened to them as well. Pop up fraud company 100%. This billing statement is FRADULENT.

My HOW referred me to this company to replace my kitchen sink faucet. Their employee, lane, came over and replaced the faucet quickly and confidently. Thank you Lane for your hard work!

Communication is horrible. I was ghosted, left voicemail and email and nothing. A few hours after they fixed a leaking shower faucet we now have no water flow in the house. Toilets don't fill up, sinks just barely spit out cold water. They claimed it was nothing they did. So why won't they answer my calls, email me back, text me??? Seems a bit odd. Now that I read some other reviews seems like I am not alone here.

Guys came out to help our neighborhood clean up after the National City storm flood. Cleaned up debris and mud located along our driveway and front of home. Very polite and courteous staff. Would recommend them to others and will use them for future jobs.

This was an awful experience and a complete waste of my time and money! I was given an 11 am to 3 pm service window by my warranty company, and 1st Response Plumbing not only showed up AFTER 3 o'clock, but I had to initiate the call that indicated they'd be late (the service technician should've provided some heads-up during the course of his route so that I didn't waste an entire day waiting). Then when he arrived, he took a few pictures, collected my service fee, and told me that my warranty company would set up a different appointment to repair the problem I had already fully detailed. So rather than fixing the problem I waited all day to resolve, I have to wait for another appointment and perhaps another company to solve the problem that 1st Response knew existed before arriving. So while this problematic system is not solely the fault of the plumbing company (the warranty company has its share of blame as well), it is very frustrating to shell out money to fix problems and not get any resolution to them. I don't have money to just throw out the window! When I spend money for a product or service, I expect to get results. And a service call, in and of itself, is not a result. A solved problem is the result! The technician was pleasant, but his kind and professional demeanor were overshadowed by an awful set of policy protocols.

My experience was great with this company coming out to look over my water heater that took some hits during a recent property inspection. The service was arranged through my home warranty that provided a decent value in that I had to pay the home warranty negotiated contract fee to 1st Response Plumbing and Food Damage Restoration.
The technician during the initial visit made an assumption, as did the property inspector, in noting vent tubing was not properly installed creating a safety hazard. However, after getting approval from my home warranty to repair, upon further inspection when assessing part size required found vent was properly installed and was only covered cosmetically with material that was thought to be the vent tube. I appreciated this was caught along with original assessment given that although some non-standard piping was used detected no corrosion and advised that with my water softener installed is not likely to lead to the pipes corroding.
The coordinator for the technician visits from 1st Response was extremely nice and helpful throughout the process. Quickly providing Plummers report to provide to my real estate agent to pass along to the buyers.
