At the age of 17, Joe experienced a plumbing crisis at home, where a Roswell plumber let him lend a hand. He commenced his apprenticeship that year and went on to be the youngest in his cohort to achieve his Georgia Journeyman's license. Following his experience with several Atlanta plumbing firms, he became the youngest in his class to achieve a Master 2 Plumber certification, permitting him to work without restrictions in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing. Our office is located in Canton, Georgia, and as we have expanded over the years, our core values have remained unchanged. In an online review, a Woodstock customer remarked, “Knowledgeable, Clean Cut, Fair price and prompt response to an emergency. Very professional. We won't hesitate to call them when needed in the future.” That’s what makes 1st Plumber To Call stand out! I began my apprenticeship at 17 in 1985, and after three years, I successfully passed the State of Georgia Plumbing exam to obtain my Journeyman license. Two years after that, I earned my Master 2 plumber designation, becoming the youngest in my class of 600 to do so. We have upheld our old-school values, ensuring we remain fast, honest, dependable, and trustworthy. Being a family-owned and operated company, we focus on meeting all your plumbing needs correctly the first time, punctually, and within your budget while protecting your health and property. Our company has achieved the highest level of Master License possible. This man came out to replace our cracked toilet 5/17/19. He was the neatest construction person I have ever dealt with! He left no mess, and he even disassembled our broken toilet and packed it in the box so nicely for us to put on the side of the road with our trash, better than my Boy Scout husband could have, and he is known for packing stuff in small spaces! I was so impressed with this plumber and will definitely hire him again! I recommend him with a top notch five star rating! Kristen M - Ball Ground

It's Mother's Day, 9:30pm...we're coming home from a long day's visit at the in-law's home. We arrive back at our own house to discover the downstairs toilets and bathtubs are overflowing with back-up sewage. I say out loud: """"Good Lord, why does crap like this always happen on weekends and holidays?"""" I immediately begin thinking about how expensive this is going to be for holiday and after hours rates. I flip open the yellow pages and discover several options, but one catches my eye because it says """"24-Hour Service at No Extra Charge."""" Bingo, we have a winner! I called the number and within 90 minutes, the owner of the company was at my front door with his truck and gear, ready to go to work. Three hours later, her discovered the cause of our problems: a cast iron pipe had collapsed under our front lawn and needed to be replaced. Thank God, this house is a rental for us, because that $1700 in repairs would have really hurt our bank account. Still, I think my landlord should be grateful I called this plumber and one of the others that did charge extra for holidays and weekends. The service was done very professionally, he was incredibly friendly and personable. And at the end of it all, he was able to accurately diagnose and completely fix our problem. I'd recommend this service to anyone living in the north Atlanta area. Oh, and if you go to the website, there are discount coupons (which I unfortunately did not know about until now).

This is one of the best plumbers I have come into contact. He answered his phone on a Saturday and made an appointment for that day as we were out of water due to a leak! He fixed the problem within 3 hours and cleaned up his mess. He also didn't charge a weekend fee!!!!! He was personable as well which is unique in that profession , I think and no crack was seen ever lol. He really should be the first call!

I called them for next day service. Tech showed up promptly and on time. Reviewed the issue, indicated what was needed to repair issue and got it done Quick and reliable. Hopefully won't have to but if I need more plumbing needs these people got my business. Strongly recommend.

My rating is based on the fact that this is apparently not a 24 hour plumber. I left a message at 11:00 p.m. And got a recording that they were on a call with another customer and would call right back. After an hour or so, I called again and got the same message. I finally got a call around 8:00 a.m. The next morning. Normally, that would be what I would have expected, but not from someone who advertises as being a 25 hour plumber.

Joe and his assistant arrived within the time window when they said they would be here. He offered suggestions about my water heater and gave estimates on more than one option for replacement. They repaired my water heater in a reasonable amount of time, I would call Joe again and recommend him to my friends.

Called in the afternoon, scheduled a visit the next morning. Came and checked out the leak under my house. Old cast iron pipe had busted. He took a look at gave me a quote -- a little lower than my first quote. Worked with his assistant to fix it up in about 2 hours. Replaced all the bad pipe with PVC. New piping looked sharp. Some other plumbers work alone, but I'm sure his assistant helps speed up the work.

We made and confirmed an appointment in writing thru Yelp messaging. He said he would arrive Tuesday between 9-10 am. He never showed and never called, he had my cell phone number and also the ability to message me thru Yelp, but did nothing. I waited 2 days to write a Yelp review. 10 minutes after I wrote the review he called me to tell me he got the poor review and explained to me that his wife's step-father had passed away and that they were out of town, and that leaving customers hanging is not how he does business. My feeling is that it would have taken 30 seconds to either message me or call me to tell me he would not be able to make it. To take those 30 seconds to let myself and other customers know he would not be coming would be the professional, polite and respectful thing to do. I don't know how close he was to his wife's step-father, nor how grief-stricken he was, but respect for your customers is a commitment you make (in my opinion) when you go into business for yourself. I sat at my house for 5 hours waiting, which I feel was wrong, despite the circumstances. Would I have ever gotten a call if I hadn't placed a bad review, I don't know? I'm sure this fellow is not a bad guy, just unprofessional and with poor manners. You make your own determination, I'm just being honest and saying my experience was not one where I, my business or my time was shown any respect at all.

Fast response, friendly service, fixed our issues, quality repairs, fair price & was willing to work with our home warranty company which wasn't easy since they spent a lot of time asking the same questions over & over. I would call out again for any needed issues in the future and would definitely recommend to my friends. D.B.

I needed an inspection done on my septic tank. They were out to look at the property with 4 hours to give me an estimate. They returned the next morning to pump the septic and do the inspection. Upon inspection it was determined there were some issues that needed to repaired and shown where the repair work was needed. I was given an estimate and the work was done the next morning. He was able to do the work without digging up my sidewalk where the first business I called said they would have to rip up the sidewalk to pump the tank. I was also told upfront that at some point I would have to do additional work but it did not need to be done at this time. He knew his trade and was upfront with all costs. It was a very good experience. I did not pay by credit card but you should know if you do there is a fee.
