Chris was early (yep, you read that correctly) and walked me through options and pricing for the repair of my toilet shutoff valve. He was honest, professional and super quick. I should point out this was an emergency call on a holiday weekend the night before a hard freeze...so I was lucky to find anyone to come out. While this wasn't an inexpensive visit, it was made painless by Chris and the office staff. I highly recommend them!

The company sent a very courteous and professional Plummer, Nathan Stalder, to investigate the source of water leaking into the front of my garage. He pinpointed the leak and repaired it very efficiently. The cost was quite reasonable. Overall, I was very happy with the performance of the company.

Greg M. was great! Super professional and was able to diagnose and repair my kitchen drain issue really well. Also explained to me how to avoid the cause for future reference. I was able to get an appointment quickly and thought the service from their dispatcher and Greg was outstanding, would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs.

WOW!! What a great company. Called them after another plumber left us hanging with no water for several days. W/in 90 minutes of my call they were here, ordered the parts needed and installed them the next day. Plus they were less expensive than the quote the other plumber (that left us hanging) had quoted. Professional and caring - qualities other "professionals" are lacking. I won't hesitate to refer them for any plumbing, electrical or HVAC work anyone needs. THANK YOU and keep up the great work!

Plumber arrived 4 hours late with no text to say he was on the way. Plumber messed up my Pressure Regulator Valve leaving me with very little water pressure in my house. Told me he could fix it for an extra $380 (around that amount anyway) after i had already paid over $400.
You read that correctly. He wanted to charge me $380 for messing up my valve.
Owner or manager of the company (I assume) called me 20 days later to check on how my service went. Told him it was a cluster. He told me he would come out and check personally the next day.
Didn't show up.
He called back 3 days later stating he would come out.
Never came by, never called, nothing.
1st Commercial Plumbers is a lousy company. Stay way.

We first worked with 1st Home and Commercial when we needed our water heater replaced. Since then we had peace of mind inspections for electric and plumbing. All the electricians and plumbers have been so nice and helpful. They don't try to oversell. Great guys that I trust are David and Caleb for electric and Randy for plumbing. I will continue to call 1st Home for any home repair needs.

Thrilled with the service from these guys! Dan and Steven helped us out. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Scheduling was a breeze. Pricing is transparent. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Ohhh where to start with this review? I wonder what the character limit is on Yelp? This process began back in June, 2017, with a quote from 1st Home for a commercial plumbing job. One of the things quote included was for complete plumbing and installation of a water heater. Once they had delivered and "installed" the water heater, they informed me they'd forgotten to include power supply in the original bid......a water heater with no power supply is of no use, right? They could do it, they said, for an additional $700+ dollars. (incidentally, I chose to go elsewhere at that point).
Fast forward a couple months later, the City of Austin plumbing inspector does not approve the permit, due to the water heater drain access not being properly installed. The company owner, Stephen Harrell actually tried to say I would have to bear the expense of the correction....I quickly let him know that I'd be doing no such thing.
Well, they made an appointment and sent Dan (who by the way is very polite, punctual, and cleaned up his mess). I had understood they'd be accessing a drain that was inside the wall.
At the end of the day when they finished the work I was SHOCKED to see the ridiculous solution they'd chosen to remedy the problem. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction I was told "this was the only way the City will approve it". Hopefully I can post a picture to this review. They ran a pipe through the bathroom wall leading down the wall (on the other side) and into the employee breakroom sink. That was 10/4/2017, today is 10/9/2017 and I've yet to receive a call to schedule another inspection. No surprise there given the void of customer service and snarky attitude of the owner.
As a courtesy, I did text the owner a picture of their "finished" product, to which I received no reply. I don't like giving reviews like this but hopefully this with spare someone the aggravation and expense it's costing me. I would NEVER hire this company again.

I've used these guys 3 or 4 times over the last 6 years or so for plumbing issues. I've had a different plumber each time, and each time they were courteous and knowledgeable. While plumbers aren't cheap, I felt their costs were reasonable, and in light of the fact they fixed my problems with no issues, their costs were a very good deal. I felt comfortable with each of the plumbers and felt like I could trust what they were telling me. Dan was my most recent technician and he seemed like a pretty good dude. I'll call them again with no hesitation for my next plumbing issue.

I called to have my garbage disposal looked at because it was leaking from the bottom. I already knew that it probably needed to be replaced, so it was a quick diagnosis. They were very responsive and were able to get someone (Dan) here within 2 hours. He was excellent at service.
The only reason I'm NOT giving this 5 stars is because they are WAY overpriced on their product and installation charge. The product (Badger) only cost $99 retail and they charge me $500 to install which took all of 15 minutes. That's outrageous!! Anyway, my fault for not doing more research and getting different quotes. I later learned that I could have easily done this myself. Lesson learned!
