First time calling 1st Choice Plumbing. Got an appointment immediately and was given a timeline that worked for me. Scott was on time. Thank you 1st Choice for meeting our plumbing needs

First off let me say that this place is TOP NOTCH! Everyone from the young lady that answered the phone to the guys that came out and fixed our leak was absolute GREAT! Scott Childers did a GREAT job! I recommend this place to any and everyone looking for any type of plumbing work. They were fair, and the pricing was good.

I had an outdoor water leak. I called 1st Choice Plumbing who came and diagnosed my leak as being from the main line running under the slab of my house. They wanted to replace the line from the water meter to the house and then reroute the pipe through the garage for $2900. I told them to cut line at the garage and reroute it from there, because why pay to trench up the yard, bore under the sidewalk and replace line that isn't leaking? Replacing everything is the easy way to fix things and not the professional way-especially when you're spending other people's money. They agreed to the work, made a couple suggestions of a water pressure regulator and carbon filter and gave a new quote of $2500. I agreed and the work was done. They cleaned up and I paid them. Everything was good. I left and came home a few hours later to find water leaking in the same place! They came back out and re-dug the hole to find water leaking the same way as before from under the house. They removed the water flowing from under the house until it stopped and then discovered it was leaking from the direction of the yard and gathering under the house until it built up pressure and back flowed. At this time the true nature of 1st Choice Plumbing was revealed. I had """"2 separate issues!"""" declared the tech. The odds of 2 separate leaks at the exact same time presenting the exact same way are really low-but not the impossible. They ran a temporary line above ground across the sidewalk to stop the leak and left. The next day I called and suggested that they simply reconnect to the line going under the house and if water started leaking there again we would know I had 2 issues and I would pay the $700 additional dollars they wanted to replace the line to the meter. If it wasn't leaking from under the house I felt that they should make the repair at no cost to me. The owner came out (never reconnected the line going under the house to see who was right) and said that it would be fair to him if I paid for half the repair to just cover the cost of the parts. 20 feet of pex pipe doesn't cost $350 but whatever, I needed to have it done so I said fix it. He also pointed out I didn't have a back flow check valve and said he would replace that for the cost of the part $200 and $100 labor. Sounds good! Do it! They say they will be back first thing Monday morning and it will take about 2 hours. The quote is $650. Monday comes and they call saying they can't come because it's going to rain at noon. I remind them the repair will only take a couple of hours and they have plenty of time. """"Oh no! This repair will take over half a day."""" I tell them we have people coming over at the end of the week and that temporary line is a walking hazard - I need the repair done. They call back and say they will be there first thing Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning first thing 3 utility trucks pull up unannounced to mark the utility lines so the plumber can dig safely. The plumber calls an hour later to tell me they will be out """"in about an hour."""" They show up at 10:30 with a new estimate for $911. I have some heated words with the owner about why my quote went from $650 on Friday to $911 on Monday. I tell him he's """"not a man of his word."""" He says he """"miss remembered the cost of things"""" and if I'm going to be """"nasty"""" with him he will just leave. I very reluctantly tell him to get it fixed. I know I'm being taken advantage of but I'm in a tight spot and they know it. They make the repair and clean up some and leave when I pay them. It's around 12:30. The repair didn't take half a day after all! After they leave I find cigarette butts in the yard and that they have unrolled my water hose from its box, used it to clean up but left it in a tangle on the side of the house. Nice. To sum up they missed diagnosed my leak, didn't verify their repair, denied responsibility for their mistake and charged me to fix it. Unbelievable ethics! Avoid them at all cost or be willing to cover all the costs-for everything, when they feel like fixing it. The office manage Nicole is great to work with and I honestly can't understand why she works there. She could do much better. I'm sure they will write a reply with denials and """"alternate facts."""" Dont believe it! Read the other reviews and beware!

Tim was amazing! He was so thorough and fixed the plumbing problem the next day after I called! Communication was great and I am so happy I will call 1st choice for any future plumbing issues. A huge thank you to 1st choice...

Once again 1st Choice Plumbing provided me with excellent service in repairing a broken toilet. Hunter was awesome and did an excellent job. He is very respectful and knows his job. Thanks young man!

Two calls to this plumber via our home warranty company and we still had zero hot water for 2 weeks! We ended up hiring another local plumber who was fast, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the issue and we had hot water that day.

People be aware of this company. Your lack of professionalism is mind blowing. I can and I will comment about a friends experience. I needed plumbing work done and I researched plumbing companies and came across your company. I read your reviews and knowing someone who had experience with 1st Choice Plumbing, made my decision that much easier. I could have been a potential customer, but my money goes to a business who values their customers. My comment is absolutely relevant, Jonna and I look out for people who need plumbing services. I have been out to the house to see the water heater and checked it out myself. A leaking water heater with no hot water is in """"perfect working condition?"""" You don't have to be a plumber to see it's not properly working. You wrote up a false report that the water heater was """"in proper working order"""" and admitted to her that you never checked to ensure the water ran hot or anything. When you provide bad service and then lie about it, it reflects poorly on you and your small business. Put yourself in the customers shoes and I'm absolutely positive you would be angry yourself. It does not matter if you came out for her or the previous owner. You """"checked"""" the water heater and said it was """"properly working"""" when it's not. You provided the service and there is documentation your company was the one who looked at it. Again, I have told many homeowner friends not to use you for their plumbing needs. People be aware of 1st Choice Plumbing. They are a scam. Read their reviews on Yelp. Be careful who you have come out to your house. As for your comment back and still believing you're not wrong, this shows your character and what kind of business you run. This situation does involve me even though you stated it does not. Staying with her and having to take cold showers is not something I call enjoyable. Seeing her being stressed out over something you should have noticed does involve me. Not even offering to inspect the water heater for the second time shows that you knew you didn't do the job properly. People save your money and pay someone who takes pride in what they do and doesn't take advantage of you. Clearly when a free service is offered, corners are cut because they are not being paid. A reliable business doesn't say a water heater is in proper working condition without even checking to see if it's working properly. People, spend the extra time in finding a dependable and reliable plumbing company who actually knows what they're talking about.

They came out and """"inspected"""" my water heater to ensure it was working properly. They wrote in the report """"came out to look at water heater and there is no leaks and elements are fine and no damage and is in PROPER WORKING ORDER"""" I am still getting NO hot water. Called and questioned and they stated they never checked the ensure the water ran hot. I asked how they could write it up as proper working order when they didn't even fully check to ensure it was in proper working order. Company offered NOTHING for their mistake, not even a free return to the home to recheck.

Thomas Carter is super knowledgable, fair and went the extra mile to assist us. He and his friendly crew re-piped our ranch home which was full of bad PEX pipe. He took the time to explain the process and was very detailed. His rates are reasonable, his customer service is fantastic and I would highly recommend him. Good guy and great master plumber!!!!

Thomas, his crew, and their workmanship are excellent. He addressed our issues with our well pump and didn't quote me a bunch of mess that was unnecessary or try to push a big sell on me. He made sure I got what I needed and nothing more. Respectful of my property and our home and even made sure his staff didn't smoke, which is a huge thing since I've had contractors come out and smoke the entire time their own the job. I'm bummed about the bad experiences others have had because they are the antithesis of the times I've used 1st Choice.
