Cannot believe how some people can stay in business - 2 weeks ago we had the plumber (Michael) show up to take a look at our 2 leaks in the bathroom. After he looked it over, he said that he would have to order the parts that could come in as early as Sunday and he should be back Monday to finish the job. We called on Monday to find out status of work to be done and was told that Michael was off on Monday. We waited to hear from Michael on Tuesday, Wednesday, etc... Finally, we called to ask for a status after 2 weeks and no one knows where Michael is or what he ordered, if anything. No solution was offered, so we had to go somewhere else after this very poor follow up for communication and waste of time. It's a shame, cause looking at these other reviews you would think these guys were great, not in my experience... I'll be sharing this with my neighborhood watch as well, very bad.

Back in March we had a slab leak in our home from the bursting of a copper hot water pipe. It did significant damage to a few rooms. We called Michael Acosta and his crew at 1st Choice Plumbing & Heating (it was a Friday afternoon), their response was awesome and they sealed off the leak quickly. We then took a few bids and decided to hire them to re-plumb our entire home and replace the water heater as well. Michael and his team gave us very good pricing (the new customer discount of 15% helped a lot!), were prompt, courteous and did a great job overall. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

First Choice couldn't have done a better job!

Matthew was very friendly, pleasant and totally knew what he was doing in a very efficient matter. The new water heater and garbage disposal were installed quickly without any problems.

Keeping their info for future use if I need a plumber.

Took off work early to be home for a 3-5pm window today for a second HVAC inspection, because after the first when 1st choice said all was good the AC did not turn on in the heat earlier this week. It's now 7pm and they've yet to show up. I've called several times only to get the voice mail.

I understand there may be delays given it's an appointment late in the day but the lack of communication warrants my bad review.

I had a great experience with Fernando! He fixed ALL my issues, and I gave him quite a list. I had piled up several plumbing issues because my PREVIOUS plumber didn't quite fix things all the way. Fernando is very reliable, arrived on time, listened to what I wanted, and completed every task completely and efficiently. He is very knowledgeable and his prices were fair. Highly recommended!

1st Choice plumbing answered my phone call and provided a reasonable response time for the next morning to my non-emergency water leak. They were upfront with pricing and had me all patched up within hours. I also have a 1yr warranty on the fix. Thanks guys.

Wish I could give 0 stars. 1st Choice Plumbing had previously snaked our kitchen mainline as we were experiencing backup. They recommended hydro-jetting in the future. We scheduled an appointment for 10/10/18 at 8:30am for hydro-jetting.

10/10/18 at 8:15am: 15 minutes before they are supposed to arrive, get a call from them that they need to reschedule. They called me instead of my husband who made the appointment. Husband speaks to them and they said the hydro-jetting machine is in the shop and won't be ready until the following week so they come out and snake the line and charge full price.

10/10/18 at 11:15am: Sink is backing up again already right after the plumber leaves so he comes back out in the afternoon to snake again.

Within a few weeks, we are having issues again.

11/23/2018: Call to schedule hydro-jetting. They say they can do it same day at 4pm then they call back a few minutes later to say they can't do it same day and will discount the service based on what we've already paid for the snaking. We schedule an appointment for 12/8/2018 at 10am as that is the earliest availability that works out.

12/8/2018 at 10am: No one shows up

12/8/2018 at 10:15am: Call 1st Choice, no answer, leave message

12/8/2018: Send company Facebook messages, call (now the mailbox is full), leave messages, call again and again, no response.

12/10/2018: Husband calls and they were apologetic saying someone should have called and let us know they hydro-jetter was ""in the shop"" again and that's why they ghosted us. Make one final appointment for the afternoon of 12/12/2018 which leads us to today....

We call this morning to confirm the appointment that was made for ""this afternoon"" and ask if we can get a narrowed down time of arrival. Company confirms our appointment and says it can probably even be earlier and will call us back. They call back a few minutes later and GUESS WHAT? They're freaking hydro-jetting machine isn't working AGAIN! At this point, we just ask for a refund and are trying to contact other plumbers. They said they'd call back about the refund but I have zero confidence in them to even be able to do that.
