Will price gouge your part by over 1000% thwy wanted $400 for a $20 part and know you're in a plumbing bind so you expect you to pay it because you're desperate in an emergency ‼ would not recommend this business to anyone They take advantage of people in need

Horrible experience. Wanted me to pay $880 for service he wouldn't guarantee and wanted ME to be the assistant. When I said I am not qualified to work plumbing, the entire reason I called them is bc I need a plumber to fix a clogged line, he said he'd have to come back with an assistant and charge me the exorbitant $175 visit fee again. Then says he'd talk to his """"boss"""" to which he then says they don't have assistants. It's only one man jobs. What?? Then tried to force me to pay for camera that went less than ten feet and didn't diagnose any issues. I gave him his $175 visit fee in cash and told him to get going. Complete scam.

Josh showed up, was incorrect about what needed to be done. My wife called me and I talked to Josh. He blamed the dispatcher for not being clear, I talked with him while he was in our basement, he then understood what needed to be done. As per my wife's report when I got home, he did NOT do more than 2 hours worth of actual work, spent less than $30 in parts and charged us $729 on invoice#15862, when I found out about it I was annoyed. I've been a successful self employed Handyman since 2002, and I couldn't do this myself because of my packed work schedule (I am Keath Your Handyman, see my reviews on Angi.) Had I done this same job for a client I would have charged $400. Josh also left a pair of channelocks (right angle pliers with jaws) right on top of an antique table in the room (close to where he was working) that we are planning to sell, the table was not damaged but that's not the point. Not happy overall, and I admit that I have high standards....

I had Choice Plumbing come to repair the main supply line entering my home. They were quick, efficient and offered what I felt was a fair price. Fast forward a year and the same leak was back. This time I chose another vendor who did the job for even less and diagnosed the failure of repair as the connection between the line coming from the house to where it meets the city line. I called choice and requested reimbursement since their repair failed. The owner did call be back, was very understanding and communicative. He did deny any responsibility because they didnt repair the city supply line. The problem is that they connected to it and that was where the failure was. In any case they did try to offer good customer service but would not make their failures right.

Doing some work in the basement and needed rough in work for the bar sink. Several companies wanted to cut the slab and reposition the drain. Not an option I was comfortable with and not really necessary. Shawn came out and suggested a better option. Today Shawn returned and in a few hours completed the job based on his earlier recommendation. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, executed the install and cleaned up. Very professional and courteous. Will have them back out for the next phase of the project.

I learned of the backed up drain in my home when my feet skooshed into wet carpet on a Saturday morning. I spoke with Patty at 1st Choice Plumbing at 9 am and she scheduled me for 4 pm. (They couldn't come right away because they were booked - that's good!) I was texted a few minutes before their arrival and Cameron and Trey were right on-time that afternoon. Like a good attorney/doctor/tradesperson, Cameron diagnosed the problem and planned a path to success, all the while making me aware of potential occurrences in the process. Well, it worked out just fine and promptly with their unclogging the backup with the snake. Their work was precise and the job was tidy when they finished. Tradespeople are not appreciated enough in our comfortable world. It's a pleasure to recommend and thank 1st Choice Plumbing for successfully remedying a problem before it became bigger. They're worth every dime!

We purchased our first home and immediately had issues. I had heard great things about this company and boy did they deliver. Cameron came out and was super thorough. He was knowledgeable and courteous. The follow-up and communication throughout the repairs was on-point and very much appreciated. Very good customer service. I will use this company for all our plumbing needs in the future.

Just absolutely terrible. They called to confirm an appointment and advised a plumber on the way. We were at home for over two hours and no one shows. When I called back the lady was rude and suggested I need to call to confirm her confirmation phone call even though we had scheduled an appointment over a week ago. Completely unprofessional, rude and dishonest. Give these guys a pass and find a reputable business.

My experience was exactly the same as that reported by Kate F. except the camera charge on a return visit would be $400 instead of her $450. An an absolute rip of. Took full advantage of my situation and charged me $714 to send a snake down the line and remove a few roots which cleared the sewer line for all of two days. Yes I agreed to their proposal but I was in no position to argue when all of my plumbing fixtures had been rendered unusable.

We had a knocking noise in the wall - coming from the heater in the garage. We called them up to check it out. And from there on out it was taking advantage of us. After the wall was opened and the binder for the pipe loosen a little bit... the knocking was still there. From there on out... it was a """"Farmers catch"""" and taking advantage of us not knowing. ...and that guy really like to hear himself talking. """"... and 99.9% and really 99.9% that Thermal expansion tank will solve the problem... and really....and 99.9% that makes the knocking sound stop...!"""" At the opening of the wall, they knew already that this is not solving the problem. So, we got this Thermal Expansion Tank for $389 plus $49 Service Charge installed, This looks like an UFO on our heater tank ...AND DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM at all!!! We paid and they left. A while later we had somebody else come over and check...a different plumber... the reason was at the kitchen sink!!! He took care of it in under an hour, less than $40. Really? But, he...""""and 99.9% it will solve the problem and ONLY, ONLY a Thermal Expansion Tank will solve the problem..."""" Honestly, if I wouldn't be so *&^%$^$* about it, I would call them to get it de-installed!!! What a rip-off!!!!!!
