The inception of 1st Call Heating and Cooling, Inc. occurred when the founder, Rodger Hettinger sought to prove that customers could obtain high-quality service at fair prices. After 19 years with a small local firm that expanded into a large ""consolidated company"", and more than 5 years at a different company, Rodger observed that shortcuts seemed standard. Frustrated by the lack of quality and ethics, Rodger decided to create his own enterprise committed to skilled work and customer care, and thus, 1st Call Heating and Cooling, Inc. was established.

Rodger enjoys music, artistic pursuits, and working on classic cars.
