No show for an early evening appointment. No one answered on my call back to inquire on what happened. A waste of my time.
Gil W.I was so pleased. I had a bath tub which took 5 minutes to drain after a shower. I'd tried a snake of my own and some very strong liquid chemical which had not helped. I called and James said someone could come the same day. In fact, DJ was there in about an hour. He put his snake down a better place so it would reach further but due to a kink in the cable he had to stop that approach so we went up on the roof and tried from there. He made progress but said he had to return tomorrow with an undamaged snake. Sure enough, he came at 8AM and within 5 minutes his undamaged snake had cleared out the entire stoppage. Then he used my rags to thoroughly clean up the tub so it sparkles and reassembled all the screws and fittings needed to access the drain. And the cost was very reasonable. Kudu's to DJ and Fifteen Dollar and their staff. I'm a happy camper.
Warning!!! They tell you they can fix it for one price, then tell you it takes 2 guys. They lied and said they were changing a leaking pipe under the rental I own but never went under the house. Then come back with a bill of thousands to replace a couple feet of pipe. Got another plumber and confirmed their scam! Beware of James and this
Stacy M.My husband and I love using yelp to find good, trustworthy help when we need it. We called fifteen dollar swear and drain because our kitchen is backed up. They gave us a window of 2-5pm. We spent our Sunday waiting and waiting. When it was 5:30 pm, I told my husband to call. We Were told that someone came by the house, knocked on the door, and left because there was no answer. We have been here all day to rectify this problem because we both work and needed it taken care of. No one came and knocked on our door.We still have no plumbing in our kitchen. Thanks for nothing $15 sewer and drain
I HIGHLY recommend these guys! They are honest, friendly, knowledgeable and very competent in their work, very reasonable in their pricing. My first encounter with them was when no other sewer company would come out (at the end of the day) to check our clogged sewer line. Timo not only came out to troubleshoot around 5 pm, he stayed until late into the evening to fix the problem.
They also ended up pipe bursting our old sewer lateral and replacing it with a new pipe. Both Rob and Timo provided great work and service. Their office staff is also friendly and helpful. Their pricing was the best out of 3 quotes, in one case they were 4 times cheaper than another firm. As a civil engineer who has experience working with city sewer laterals I can vouch that the crew at $15 Sewer & Drain are very knowledgeable and take pride in their work.
I would definitely use them again!
Very good phone communication to schedule. The plumber who came was courteous, did a great job with our blocked kitchen sink pipe, cleaned up nice and made sure no leaks before he left even though it was late and he had more calls to make. Can't beat the price $88. Others I called were $150.
Tammy B.Fantastic service and quick response for their after hours guys. They were honest and reasonably priced. We hope to be using them for a bigger project on our home in the near future. Highly recommended!
Dyanne R.Luis Salinas was our plumber that was sent to us. He was beyond awesome!!! He unclogged our shower and tub within 15 minutes. Very knowledgeable and he knew what he was doing. After he was done our bathroom was a mess, he even helped cleaning. Which is not in his job description but he did it anyways. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM IF WE HAVE ANY PLUMBING ISSUES IN THE FUTURE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE!
Be very careful when dealing with these guys. I had a problem with my toilet because I put too much paper towels. My fault and I wanted someone else to fix it because I had to go somewhere. I was prepared to pay the 178.00 for 2 people. But how they came about it and afterwards is what's disturbing.
1st warning: As I said, I knew I most likely had to pay the 2 person job. But they guy said, I can fix it if I take out the toilet and made it sound like a big job. I called his bluff and said I can take the toilet out in 1 one minute. Dude said, he did not want to dirty the bathroom. Given I wanted to get this done quickly, I conceded to get the 2nd person out here. I knew I was paying a premium. This was my decision.
2nd warning: Next my bath tub was blocked. They wanted to charge and additional 75.00. I was OK with that. But this time they brought equipment into my bathroom and dirtied it up anyway. Contradicting (1). This could have been a 1 person job.
Next they wanted to install something to more easily access the sewer line fro 1200. I declined.
3rd warning: They saw my toilet valve was leaking and automatically tried to scare me with a pipe leak underneath the house. I already knew about this leak and knew it was not what they said. I wanted to see how far they wanted to go with this.
4th warning: The owner of the company crawled underneath my house and said indeed there was a pipe leak and there was a puddle on the ground. I was 85% sure he was BS'ing me at this point. He wanted 4500.00 to replace the sewer lines but only half of it.
I've crawled underneath my house in the past and knew what my pipes did and did not do. I crawled underneath it again today and there was no leak and no puddle.
The owner saw me with a female who he thought was my wife/girlfriend and wanted to scare me into doing this work, not knowing that I do my own re-models/construction.
They were very nice and said everything with an honest face and looked me in the eye when talking to me.
Watch out...
Jorge helped me out and he was amazing. The bathroom toilet overflowed and fifteen dollar not only helped me get someone to help me out asap - they were also patient and carefully assessed the issue.
The toilet was fixed after repeated checks and I appreciate the timely help and helping us not get into a flooded-bathroom-situation.
