They took advantage of me. They charged me for a hydrojetting and camera inspection that was not necessary and never done then almost 5k for a sumpump replacement. I will definitely shop around next time. I did call and ask for a refund d for my 1500.00 hydrojetting and camera and Chris told me he was still going to do the camera inspection in the future. That was in June. Have not heard from them. At this point I just want my money back. I have talked to 3 other companies since and have been told since the clogged toilet and pump were only a few feet away it was not needed.

I had them come out to clean out a slow moving sewer line with the blades, not the hydro jetting and camera. While talking to them, I noticed the McCrea Plumbing logo on their hats. The kid assured me they were no longer associated with them and the last person that worked for McCrea was leaving the same day. Bla, bla, bla. He finally got around to the price for the clean out, with the senior discount, was $745 to run the snake approximately 30' to the main sewer line. This was not an emergency repair. I refused and paid them the $59 just for showing up. If I had know in advance that they were in ANYWAY associated with McCrea, I NEVER would have had them come out. Called a few local people, other than McCrea's, and the highest price was $225 to do the same thing. Very, very deceptive! Call anybody besides these guys.

do yourself a favor and get other quotes sure wish I had. i had a blockage and ended up having to reline the whole sewer line to the tune of $23,000. although all the guys that did work were professional and pleasant and the job turned out fine. I just feel that the price was higher than I expected and was somewhat pressured at the time of sale. now this price might be the going rate or are they taking advantage of a senior in need

From the time I filled in the online appointment form to the time they were at my house was less than two hours. They were always extremely courteous and professional.

Travis was an exceptional expert, keeping me informed the entire way. Given a challenging situation, Keidon joined Travis and together they conquered the problem. As they went along my 20 year old pipes had more issues than originally thought. Travis and American Rooter & Drain kept to the rate quoted, even though it took more time and effort to complete the repairs.

If I could give the company and staff more than five stars I would. Nobody likes to have to call a plumber, but this has been a great experience. I recommend them without hesitation.

I had these people come over to clear a blockage in our main drain. We were in a pinch because we could not use any of our water fixtures in the house without the backing up of sewage and they knew we needed it fixed asap.

Right from the start was the up-selling... I mean they came on immediately with the crap and I despise this approach since I used to work for a local pos hvac company that forced its employees to do the same thing. Or the fudging of ignitor ranges and telling folks that their ignitors could fail at any time and should be replaced sooner than later when in reality, they were still well within range and would have continued working fine.

After refusing the full home ""sanitizing"" of our drains, they cleared the blockage then told us that there is a crack and offset in the main drain as it goes under the foundation from settling of the home and that it needs to be repaired for 6 grand to stop any blockage from occurring again. He said he'd give it 2 months before it happens again (it's been over 2 months now... I waited to give my review until now).

After reading the other reviews on this page, I found one from Amy G that I swear I could take word for word what she wrote as to what this company said and did to me... WORD FOR WORD!

Unfortunately, I did not see these reviews until it was too late. Asking others in the similar field; we were overcharged for the work they did and the quote to ""fix the crack"". Also, it seems rather suspicious as well that we were referred to this company by another so called reputable plumbing company so said these guys would be ""more cost effective"".

You get one chance only to make a good impression. Apparently, their approach is to take advantage of the desperate, take as much money from them as possible then search for other prey.

What can I say? Had a clogged drain, called up American Rooter & Drain and Jason came and got it taken care of. He was fast and very polite.

My toilet was leaking and I thought I'd have to replace it but Travis came out and fixed it, checked my other bathroom as well. I live out in Weiser and Travis got here early, was very efficient, super friendly and charged a very, very reasonable price.
