Maybe weird review, but neighbors in community recommended so I called about kitchen faucet all of a sudden having low pressure and explained what I had tried to diagnose/solve so far. Leon was patient and supportive on phone. TLDR he suggested replacing faucet as next step, I was a bit incredulous for a 3 year old faucet but sure enough that fixed it meaning problem was in faucet (but had checked aerator and cartridge already). When I do have a ""real"" problem I'll be sure to give them a call... but they should see about getting that full message mailbox status cleared up!-)

Leon and Hiram at Cal Bay plumbing are the best guys out there. At a time when good, honest service is no where to be found, these guys are there to help and they've helped so much with my rental that has had a number of different problems over the last three years. They are always seem to be available whenever I have a problem, and as an out of town landlord, this give me huge peace of mind! I can't recommend these guys enough and, a major plus is they are super friendly!

I was in the Bay Area visiting a friend. While there on my visit, we noticed there was a leak in her bathroom (toilet). She goes, what am I supposed to do? I am like, girl, call a plumber!! She was like it's the weekend. So we called around and no one answered. We called Cal Bay plumbing, guess what!! They answered.
Spoke to a guy there Leon, and he was very friendly and extremely professional and assured that he could come out and take a look.
He promptly showed up, assessed the issue. Came in and fixed the issue, cleaned up any mess and any additional water that had gotten anywhere.
He also noticed some issue she had going on with her shower, he quickly took a look at it, and turns out it just needed a little tightening and he did that too!
Not to mention, didn't charge an arm & a leg for it!!

I don't know much about plumbing except, you usually only call them, when things literally have gone to shit!! lol
But things quickly went from shit to sugar!!

Armando came out to do our Sewer lateral inspection. First he was quick, I called and within 2 hours he was at my home checking out the project. We needed to add a vent (or some technical term) and we took care of it. Lucky for us we passed the inspection with flying colors and the job was done to a 5 star rating. We also had a little leak around an old irrigation system that has never worked which they replaced all the pipes as well.
We have also used him for a question about the drainage system on a house inspection for our new home. We are looking forward for him to come out and fix the problems once we close. We have only wonderful things to say about Cal Bay Plumbing and Armando himself.

Armando and his crew were hired to replace our sewer lateral and install sumps for drainage. He met me at the house and, after looking things over, gave me a bid on the spot. His bid came in lower than competitors. Cal Bay did a solid job on all the work. A few weeks later they also replaced the sewer lateral for a neighbor. They are also happy with the work that was performed.

It's rare to find a company that is completely stellar in what it does. Cal Bay Plumbing is just that rare. About 7 months ago they put the requisite liner in my sewer as per Alameda County code, complete with knock-outs. Recently I have a friend staying in my lower bedroom which I never used and it was found that the toilet attached to this room had backed up. Since it was on a weekend I called an emergency rooter company to see what was wrong. To find out, that sewer line was not connected to the main one with the new liner that Cal Bay installed. On Monday I contacted Cal Bay and that day one of their team came out and made the correct connection so now my entire system works like it should. When I called Cal Bay, Armando said that when they send their camera down the sewer line roots can miss connections and this was the case with mine. So, not only did Cal Bay make the repair in one day I sent them the invoice from the rooter company and they sent me a check to cover the entire amount. So, this company not only honored their commitment to give me a new lateral sewer line, they stood behind this commitment and made all the repairs. We as consumers need to applaud these very few companies who give us great service and support only those who really we can only rely. The work team at Cal Bay are a group of guys who work so hard I was just overwhelmed at what they did for me. I'm totally behind this company you just won't go wrong.

Armando and his crew at Cal Bay Plumbing were honest and on time. They took care of our sewer lateral and worked late into the night to get it done. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

They were hired to replace a sewer main that ran through my backyard. They were not hired by myself but by the building owner. While doing the job they destroyed my fire pit some plants and to top it all off they stole a shovel none of which were in the way. I've complained to them but was not encouraged by the conversation I had. I don't think he even wrote down anything I said. I hope I'm wrong (but not hopeful) and they'll take care of this.
