I had an emergency with my broken shower faucet on Wednesday evening @ 7pm and Eddie answered the call. If I left the faucet on, I'd have water damage in the house, so I had no option but to shut off the mains and wait for a pro to re-install a shower faucet with the valve. Eddie was helpful in telling me the part to go buy from Lowes and phone diagnose the problems. He directed Simon to come next morning at 8am. Simon came on time, and addressed the issue by early afternoon.

Thank you for the timely help, esp during COVID. Simon was very professional, kept his mask on, and maintained safe distancing.

Eddie was great! He helped me unclog a shower drain that required him to snake it 30 feet deep. Pretty much impossible to do yourself unless you have the right tools. He was super professional and seemed very experienced. The price he quoted was also very fair. His 40 day warranty also put my mind at ease that he stands by his work. Thanks Ed!

Plumbing needs are usually unexpected and stressful. Eddie's professionalism, helpfulness, and positive attitude over the phone helped put us at ease right away. Thankfully, he was able to fit us in the next morning, and he showed up right on time. The pipe from the kitchen sink was badly clogged. Eddie patiently ran the drain equipment several times over until the clog was finally cleared. He performed all of the work from the outside with mask and gloves at all times.

Note to fellow Yelpers: Don't try to unclog your drain with baking soda + vinegar + water. It was the baking soda paste that ultimately backed up our kitchen sink.

Friendly, communicative, speedy are attributes frequently seen in #1 Honest Plumber's Yelp reviews. What makes them stand out even more is the $99 special during the Covid19 pandemic (as long as you have an accessible clean out). I was relieved and grateful for Eddie's generosity and kindness during this difficult time (I lost my job). While other plumbers are charging between $150 - $200, Eddie saved the day with excellent service and a helpful discount. I highly, highly recommend #1 Honest Plumber.

There are few people like Eddie and Simon sadly these days. They are honest, fair, kind, and do great work. Replaced the hose bib on my back patio faucet in like 15 minutes. Also, helped fixed the lack of cold water in my washing machine. If you can get an appointment with these guys you will be very happy with their work. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Requested help with replacing a toilet valve and adjustment of a kitchen faucet. Got a reply that he was booked up for two weeks. I replied that it wasn't an emergency and asked when he would be available. He then replied that he doesn't work on faucets; he only installs them. (He actually installed the faucet that needs adjustment, and we were pleased with that work.) He never addressed the toilet valve replacement at all. I would have preferred an honest answer to begin with (""I'm busy and just don't want to do it"" would even have been preferable); I'm now at a point where I wouldn't recommend him at all. Please don't tell me you're booked for two weeks, and then come up with a new excuse when I say that's OK, I can wait two weeks.

Ed was terrific. We have an older home, and frankly the plumbing is a bit mysterious. Things a bit backed up, and Ed was able to come out same day and snake the lines to get things running again. He then helped explain some of the plumbing mysteries of our home. Perhaps most notable is that while he could have suggested and charged me for a camera inspection and a bunch of other stuff, he was really up front and honest and said he didn't think it was needed (at least not right now). Bottom like is Ed provided quick, neat, courteous, insightful, communicative, and honest plumbing service. I don't think you can ask for anything more.

My washer drain pipe was overflowing.
Sent Eddie a message on yelp, he said he was busy until Tuesday.
After trying a few things from Sunday-Tuesday, I called Wednesday and he was available, showed up within 1 hour of my call and snaked the vent drain on the roof.

Some things you just can't do yourself with a 25' snake, ended up needing like a 80' snake to get the job done.

Ed is straightforward. He fixed my toilet in a matter of 30 minutes. I spoke to 2 other plumbers that I felt were patronizing to women, who gave me recommendations for solutions that were expensive and time-consuming and didn't make any sense for the problem at hand (ie one plumber suggested replacing the whole toilet over a faulty fill valve). I am not sure if it's because I'm a woman and some vendors just think that they could blow smoke up my behind because they think women don't know anything about these things. Anyhow, Ed was not like that at all which I really appreciated. He got the job done, in a timely manner, for a fair price with no fanfare. Thank you.
