Your business belongs to #1 Honest Plumber! Ed is very honest and generous with his time. I was in desperation because the recently installed water heater (from another plumber...The Honest Plumbers) wasn't working and I couldn't get ahold
of them. Ed came out free of change and at least got the pilot light back on so I could take a shower. Thank you Ed, I was overwhelmed by your kindness.

I do NOT believe these reviews! The worst service ever! Must be relatives writing the five-star reviews......not good! Is Ed the only plumber they have? No! I don't see the mention of the other names that still work there, I bet I know why.....too much bad press already and yes, a lot of them were fired but many stayed on. Not 'Honest' at all!

I called Ed twice because of plumbing problems at my rental- both times I had to cancel because my husband thought he could DIY it. After this, a 3rd problem occurred and I called him again. Ed just replaced 2 toilets and put in new knob handles and stems in both showers. His work is exemplary! He was in and out in 3 hours and that included a trip to the store to match the stems and hardware to the existing equipment. He did a fantastic job and was very informative explaining everything he was doing. Ed has done work for me before and I am always so very pleased with both his work and his professionalism. I highly recommend him.

Called to have them take care of a heavily clogged drain. Ed was here in 15 minutes and done with the job within 30 minutes. Gave me some pointers on how to keep it clean and clog free going forward. Very honest exactly as the name says.
Will definitively use them again and recommend to family and friends.

I want to share another act of honesty from Ed.
I overpaid with a check and Ed was kind enough to drop off the overage to my house. I found the money along with a note in my mail. We need more people like Ed. Hardworking and trustworthy!

Last year I called Ed to unclog my bathtub and he not only showed up early, but he did a great job fixing my bathtub. This afternoon, I had a problem with my toilet leaking water since Monday. Ed and I agreed on a price, but when he showed up Ed said the issue was not a leaking wax seal, but loose bolts holding the tank. He fixed the tank bolts and charged me half price! (Also, Ed showed up early again.)

Two issues handled by this company

Issue 1 -
Three calls(first call and two recalls) from this place to attend to the same problem. Bath tub not draining. Three different people from the company doing the same wrong thing. They took a screwdriver, pulled out a little hair and said my problem was solved. The water flowed a little better but not much. Said I should do regular cleanup. After American Home Shield assigned a different vendor Superior Plumbing, they confirmed that the HONEST Plumbers had broken the stopper, pushed it down the drain. It had to be fixed by going into the crawl space, opening the P trap and cleaning out the broken stopper. Can't understand why three plumbers from this company would not once resolve the problem, do they lack the skills, have bad attitude or are having a bad day everyday.

Issue 2 - leaky bath faucet. Three calls, one worse than the other. First time, the person said he needed parts and will order it and come back. He never came back. Another person came, this time with wrong part. Third time Ed came and tried to fix it, but made the situation worse by grinding the existing valve and left saying that it was not fixable. The valve needed to be replaced and needed tile to be cut and he did not have the time. Even this might have been ok, if not for the fact that now the water was dripping heavily.

He did not have the courtesy to think about or advise that this was the case or any options on how to stop the leakage even if temporarily. As a licensed plumber this is the least he might have done. I was in a panic on what might be done to stop the leak. I redirected the water from the tub faucet to the shower head, removed the shower head and capped it.

I wish they were honest or thought about the customers!
