1-800-PLUNGER was established in 2000. I have been a licensed plumber in the North Shore area since 1979.

My father ran H. Guy Lyman Plumbing and Heating Co in Beverly for many years. Growing up, I would visit the shop on Saturdays during the school year to assist with stocking and cleaning. In the summer months, I accompanied the other plumbers on their jobs. The knowledge I gained was practical and not something you could learn from books. After finishing high school at Beverly, I entered the local #138 plumbing union's apprenticeship program and earned my license.
